CNBC approached Tea Party activists, looking for angry protest events that would make good television, according to a leaked email from a Tea Party discussion group. And one Tea Bagger responded by flagging an upcoming event that, he said, "should be a riot ... literally."

"We have a media request for an event this week that will have lots of energy and lots of anger. This is for CNBC."

Wayman then posted information for an upcoming "health fair" hosted by Rep. David Scott (D-GA), at whic

Please go to the source link and read the entire article for yourself.

It's funny, just before coming upon this article I was on the MSNBC homepage, on the frontpage it's an angry guy in a townhall meeting with a headline saying angry protesting, nobody wins.

Read the article and judge for yourself.

Every news agency out there was looking for a angry mob takes over health care town hall meeting. So what so special about this one did they fake it and hire hooligans to disrupt so they could get it on film no . They just did what all news outlets do.

This doesn't really surprise me too much. I mean beyond the whole ratings ratings ratings mantra of cable news.

Remember the ratings they got when they showed and angry Rick Santelli and other stock brokers a couple months ago?

Yep.. it's all about ratings.

Who honestly cares any more? At this point all the news agencies have about as much credibility as a three year old compulsive liar with tourette syndrome. Obama is owned by GE, so it's no surprise CNBC is trying to cram his phallus down their throat. Just like it's no surprise Fox is constantly trying to rally Wal-Mart's finest. It's demographics and propaganda which the vast majority of Americans have no concept that they're stupidly playing into. I personally just don't give a damn anymore.

Agreed.

When Obama wants to portray all of the angry crazies as the ones opposed to healthcare -- that's what he gets.

When Obama wants everybody reporting on how the economy is turning around and the worst is behind us -- that's what he gets. (even though they usually take it back in a few days).

Whatever agenda the White House wants published, pushed, and reported on -- he gets. It's really that simple and apparently effective.

Next, they'll start showing videos and pictures of angry church-goers, just to hammer home all of the "religeous fanatics" running amok.

Healthcare town hall meetings - stay informed

A Washington-based conservative group is notifying Americans when and where their U.S. senators and representative will be holding healthcare town hall meetings this month.

The Traditional Values Coalition (TVC) is offering the free service and is encouraging Americans to take part in the town hall meetings in their congressional district. TVC executive director Andrea Lafferty says the events are an opportunity for Americans to register genuine concerns, not the "manufactured outrage" the White House claims is on display at the town halls.

.

Traditional Values Coaltion

Go to Town Hall meetings and challenge your legislators on these issues:
Government-Run Health Care and the 53 New Federal Bureaucracies it creates.

Employment Non-Discrimination Act (will force religious employers like Bible publishers, day cares, camps, etc., to hire gay, bisexual, and transgendered persons)
Pledging to read Legislation before voting on it!
Important Civics Lesson!

Bring a van load of friends, children and grandchildren to these Town Hall meetings. Most students have not returned to school, yet. Let them learn a valuable civics lesson about how our system of government works!

Once you sign up for our Town Hall alert, you’ll be sent the dates of your elected officials’ Town Hall meetings. We want your feedback on how they responded! Sign up today!

Invite family and friends!

The relgious groups are already involed.

Im not a Obama supporter. But the "traditional values coalition" is simply a hate group. Everyone is not a christian, we don't all have to abide by their "rules". I don't appreciate those a-hles trying to force people to live like them, they are no better than the gov they are against. This is never going to be a "christians world". I mean I'm not gay either but theres a page on there saying all gays are pedophiles and are trying to get access to children. Rediculous. I agree with a few things on that site, but some of it makes me sick. How can people be so full of hate for their fellow humans?

Oh I know man. I wasn't attacking you or anything. I could tell by your post you didnt exactly support them. I just wanted to speak my mind about them anyways. I do support most anti obama stuff but some people are just so extreme about it.

Oh and to stay on topic I agree with the people who said that most media outlets go looking for protestors.. Thats nothing new.

It was easy to notice when Republicans got involved at the local town hall meetings here. At first, it was a group of angry people waving "don't Tread on Me" flags and chanting.

Then the leaked emails came out, and it got public attention.. last night was a little different..

There were angry old people now yelling about socialism and holding anti-abortion posters .. there was a lady standing in the background holding her "Don't Tread on Me" flag a little half halfheartedly.. she looked lost and confused..

I just shook my head and flipped the channel..
