Illegal aliens will be able to opt-out and be covered at the same time.

The Democrats know which constituencies to take care of.

I'm pretty sure ATS members are smarter than that as well. Sometimes it's just hard to tell where the truth is coming from. We all play the fool occasionally, and sometimes it's hard to see it coming. Hopefully honest debate can open some eyes around here, and if not...well, at least we can say we tried to deny ignorance.

It was an act that turned into a career, much like guitar playing, fake it til you make it...

ur, believe it...

Source to what? We all know that everyone is going to mandated to be covered by insurance or else subject to IRS Fines.

I dont think Illegals care about IRS Fines.

And we know that Illegals are covered.

Thus, Illegals can flout the requirements and are still covered.

Americans citizens are the serfs.

I stand corrected.
Thanks for doing the dirty work.

That's what I do.

If a person doesn't want health insurance, I think they shouldn't have to have it. But then, when they get sick, they should be left to die.

Kinda harsh there, don't you think? I have to admit you shocked me with that one. Definitely not what I would have expected.

That's pretty much exactly what happened prior to the advent of corporations and the welfare state. The closest thing you had to insurance was the generosity of your church and family. That's still how some groups- the Amish, for example- prefer to do things.

They generally don't live quite as long under such a system, but economic woes seem less of a concern.
