I Nominate Skeptic Overload to head...

Topic started on 12-8-2009 @ 04:00 AM by Vasilis Azoth

I Nominate Skeptic Overlord to head the 2nd American Revolution.

You pointed out a solution in your recent thread and I nominate YOU Skepic Overlord as the benevolent dictator you have called for.

You have a forum.

You have an army.

Can someone second this nomination?

edit hmm, prob should have spelled his name right? Mods?

A damn silly idea..

ATS will be shut down in a flash, the owners arrested, the membership investigated or flagged, and the action used to make a public example-of in the media as a warning and leave the door open to quashing of free-speech in the online realm

Oz, surely you jest.

Why can't a businessman be a revolutionary?

I do believe the two can be the same.

Or were you being sarcastic?

We're clearly talking about two different people here, and Skeptic Overload is Bill's evil twin who must be stopped, revolution or not!

I am so confused? .. SO did not support or call for any kind of Revolution, just highlighted to outright corruption of the current system?

I think you took it a wee bit to far.

I prefer not to be drafted or associated with an Army of revolutionist on a wesbite. SO is a business man not a Commander, I rather not be led by a Dictator which we are supposed to AVOID. I do not second your nomination (No offense Bill).

It would be a great way to get some points, but 'points don't feed yer kids, man.' Try to barter them points when SHTF and you're gonna wish you would had some applause instead.

I DO think that businessmen can be quite revolutionary though...that Popeel guy, he was the bomb! Who couldn't use something that dices up onions before you have to cry? The PED EGG?!?! Come on, you KNOW you want one.
It makes it;s own Parmesan cheese for your pizza. How cool is that?

Perhaps you meant 'benevolent dictator' in a more literary sense. You know, someone to gently stoke the fires of creative thought and brotherly tolerance, while still maintaining a healthy bottom line.

Is this a conspiracy board or not? Why not create our own conspiracy?
using electoral-vote.com... as a baseline

Tough races
Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana,
Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio

Easy for Dems
Arkansas, California, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Maryland,
New York, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont,
Washington, Wisconsin

Easy for Reps
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma,
South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah

I think a businessman/woman especially with an engineering degree would make a great Senator. They could do process charts and with a business background know where to cut. But what about the senate?
What kind of party would it be and what would be the platform?
Who could we push (new) and how to get them to accept and who could we subvert?
Anyone want to start a conspiracy instead of talking about others?

Just control the Senate and you have leverage. With people being angry it could work. Not another party - just elect non-polititions for two terms.

It would not be that hard to win 20 races and have 1/5 of the Senate. Then people would see some Dems & Reps start walking in lock-step and might wake up more.

Bill: Do you know a couple of people we could talk into running?

I forgot about this comment

I was joking....Im sure given the right backing, anyone could be a revolutionary

I think SO's weapon of choice should be a trident
