I fell in love with a woman in my dreams once...
I thought about her all day for the next few days.
It was a great feeling.
I've never had a serious relationship because I tend not to find a lot of girls worth the investment, but I would like a relationship.
I never dreamt of that girl again, but it has made me look for that special one more... so far to no avail.
Oh well, I'm not going to rush something that isnt there, I'l just keep on waiting until I find that girl that made me feel the same way I felt in that dream...

Interesting, I have trouble remembering but the book The Daemon (seriously recommended for anyone pondering the nature of reality, the afterlife, higer selves, the matrix and etheric realms etc...) noted a true story about quite a famous author who dreamt about (much like you) and even went so far as to write her into a book. Years later he actually met in the real world, the "fictional" woman he was in love and had apparently created. I will find the book and get the exact referance.

The implications are beyond massive. Are we creating our own realities, is it because all times run simultaniously that we have precognative knowledge? Do actual soulmates exist? Is it a seven headed astral demon pretending to be a hot chick? Who knows, sounds like a wonderful experience though.

I don't really have anything to contribute to the OP, but whenever I read about a book I don't know yet (which is a lot!
), my curiousity gets the better of me and I have to find it. So I went on the net and I *think* I found the book Majestic 23 mentioned is the following: www.amazon.co.uk... Hope nobody minds and if I have the wrong book, I apologize Majestic 23!

Thats the one Wu! An excellent book it is too, really helped me make sense of some things. You have just reminded me I need to get that excerpt for Gela.

I've had similar dreams this past year alone. However, I did see her face, both times, but for the life of me I cant remember it! It was so beautiful tho.
She was probably the most beautiful being I have ever encountered (besides my wife). I did feel as tho I was in love, however, it wasnt the type of love I experienced when I fell in love with my wife. It was like love but without the lust to get physical. I cant fully describe with words what I felt.
I dont know, perhaps your future wife or something has taken notice of you and is esoterically checking you out.

I hardly dream at all, or at least I don't often remember much of dreams. I get a clear dream once every blue moon.

Other than that, I am a fairly similar person to the OP, although I wouldn't use uninteresting directly. I have a number of friends, and acquaintances. My two best friends are in another state. And my acquaintances are work people.

I do have a partner though, of a bit over 2 years and feel this is most of the socialising I need. It is not that I don't find PEOPLE uninteresting, I find what they talk about and how they interact uninteresting. Not completely everyone though, you can find different people that interact differently.. hence why I have some, but very few very good friends.

I would like to think most people on ATS would be into the 'interesting' mould, because we offer a different perspective.

I have had some strange dream experiences, different though. When I was 14 I dreamt a cricket game, and the score... why replicated the following day (a record low score by England).

And my girlfriend did seem to go through a stage of channeling, although that seems to have tapered off now.

I had the same thing just two nights ago, I woke hugging my pillow close and feeling much the way you described, in love and wishing the girl in my dream actually existed. My heart was a twisting torrent of emotion for a good two hours after waking up...

I'm not sure why people dream that way, we can have extremely realistic experiences, even experiences which seem more real than reality. It truly is odd the way we can get emotionally and physically stimulated while dreaming - our brains tricking our bodies into believing its all real to the point where we question reality when we awaken.

I think these dreams are important motivators, your heart is telling you to get out there and find love or at least make some more human connections and feed your need for affection and interaction... At least that's my guess... good luck and feel free to commune with your dream girl until you can find a real one

Yeah, I've had something similar. It was definitely touching. Best girl I have ever seen, anyway. Perfect in everyway. Angelic.

I suspect she even came to aid me in an astral projection. I avoided it and went back to sleep, only to dream and see this girl. At least 6' with long, golden hair, a great tan, soft skin and incredibly captivating deep blue eyes. Those eyes were all knowing and it's like she could perceive anything and see through any illusion.

I never saw her again, but one day I hope I will. I'd really like for that to happen.

I don't know what exactly happened but the more you push it the more you are going to spoil it. Just be with what ever happens, whether she will turn up in your dreams or real life or not.

I did a bit of remote sensing. I see this woman mid 20, she looks like a woman from the late 40-ies or early 50-ies.... She is eating an ice cream cone. She reminds me very much of a Vargas Girl, yet not in the traditional pin up pose. I even see her as a drawing, not a real woman.
You said light brown hair, I see more reddish light brown hair. Eyes either hazel or blue. Not brown, green or grey.
What ever I am sensing is from the past....

Wow, I'm kind of over this experience already but your post was really interesting.

How could you do a remote sensing just by having me describe a little of her?
I'm amazed because I LOVE ice cream and I'm very attracted to red haired girls in general.

Weird.

So your guess is that I was just remembering?
Could it be that she is my soul mate and I saw her as she was in the past because thats the most beautiful image I have of her until now?

When I saw her I actually noticed that she didn't look "modernly stylized". I now remember that she was using a long white nightgown and her hair style simply didn't fit for nowadays (way too long).

It didn't seem like a memory though (and I had dreams of past lives) because I was my present self in the dream and I was laying in my current bed when she appeared.

I'm very intrigued now.

K well for the second night in a row, this girl is back in my dreams..

This hasn't happened to me in about 3-4 years , and it started again once I read this thread.....so thanks again to the OP for posting this...

I posted a few days ago about it and literally right after that ( next day or 2 ) I had these dreams..

Last night was a continuation of the night before.......and everything has stayed on chronological order.....

So I met her and we spent time together, then I met her friends, and we got along great, it stopped....

Last night I met her family and more friends and they all told me how much she was starting to like me..

Then again last night...( I wake up frequently to drink water....maybe 5-10 times a night...) once i took a sip and fell instantly back to sleep I was where I left off at and me and her started talking more and I haven't felt like this since I was with my ex gf 2 years ago......

This time though I actually got to see this girls face and this girl is pretty much a mix of the last girl I liked/got with and some made up dream girl...

So I find out she is based...somewhat on a real life person..

Back story on this real person.....Met her at bar last summer and we hit it off and the next 3 nights I hung out with her.........then she moved to Chicago the next day.....

Kind of sad really as I finally found a girl I was really into since my break up with ex gf a year prior to that and I found out she was moving 3 days later..

So we hung out every night and our personalities just clicked and she was an amazing girl/women ( I'm 24...23 at the time she was 26)...

Havn't talked to the girl since........

So this dream girl is pretty much this girl but in like an alternate reality almost....

Maybe that is what dreams are......us getting to view an alternate reality that is ACTUALLY happening........meaning while we sleep, another us is awake in another reality doing whatever it is they would do, and since universally there is only 1 true me, that we are all connected..........

So I sympathize with the OP.........I really would love to meet this Dream girl but I know I never will...

Maybe it's telling me I need to get out and meet some more ladies as I have been kind of reclusive and picky lately....

I was wondering how the OP was doing with his dreams.

Some of his experience parallels my own, except mine is definetly spirit mates and not limited to the dream world.
I don't want to hijack the thread so you can read my acount www.abovetopsecret.com... if you like.

Questions if you don't mind:
(1) Do you still have those dreams?
(2) Do you think about those dreams alot during your day?
(3) Do you feel any strange touches on your body, especially your private areas? I don't neccessarily mean a physial touch sensation (Hard to describe) but more of an "under the skin" almost electic-tingly sensation almost like you've walked through a spider web?
(4) You mention some difficulty with intimate relationships. Do you believe the cause to be something about yourself (Do you hold yourself back) or something else?
(5) Does it ever seem women talk in your thoughts, especially (If you do) self-pleasure?
(6) If (5) is a "Yes", do they seem dominant?

I understand you say you are over this experience, but before you leave it entirely, would you write more about the dream itself (before the finale)? The plot, other dream characters, ...

Even if you don't post it here, you might want to have a detailed record of it someday. Maybe in case a certain someone asks
. And if you do post it, then you have a datelined, public defense against her saying it's just a pick-up line.

Thanks.

Bro...this is to weird... I don't know what to say.

I've had this exact same experience not 3 days ago!!

The only difference is I saw her face, everything, I even got her Initials!
Usually I brush off odd dreams, but I can't get this one off my mind.

When I read your post, I spat out my soda all over my screen.
Doesn't it suck!? to know that it was only a dream, but the effect lasts!

This is too weird!
I just can't stop thinking about that dream, and if it meant something.

I got a lot out of that dream.

She had medium length blonde hair, the most beautiful blue eyes, she was from Russia, and her initials were B.C.

I didn't get a full name, but, the dream is bothering the crap out of me...

Anyway...I can say this...I know what you mean!

1) No, I had no more dreams with her. The one I talk about in this thread was the only one.

2) No, I don't think about them anymore. I thought about them for maybe two or three days after it happened, then my attention just got caught by something else. Well, actually, before I go to sleep I still wonder if she is going to appear for me again, but it hasn't happened until now.

3) I'm not sure. I recall feeling something like you describe in other areas of my body, but I don't thing I had them on my genitals.

4) I don't have difficulty with intimate relationships. I'm very open, so open that whoever I'm connecting to also opens themselves. So almost all of my relationships are intimate. But lately I've had no relationships at all. Not even friends. I'm not sure about the cause, but my best guess is because of the huge difference between my mindset and that of common people.

5) I didn't really understand the question. If I hear female voices in my head? Yeah, sometimes. But its not something that happens often.

6) No, never dominant. The most dominant they get is asking me to be more dominant.

I'm going to check out your thread.

There was no plot nor other characters.

From what I recall now I was having some other dream when that dream got interrupted and I started dreaming that I was sleeping or just relaxing in my bed with her already laying by my side smelling and touching me softly.

It was really weird, so weird that I had the sensation that it was more than a dream. How could a dream be interrupted so suddenly by another dream? Very odd.

It seemed like it lasted less then 5 minutes. Maybe not even 3 minutes. I suddenly was in what you called the finale and I was out of it right away.

Wow, this is getting even stranger, In my experience, I'm not to sure, I vaguely remember a different dream that night, but not sure if it was interupted. But In my dream, It was the same scenario, lying on my bed, with her next to me. It was extremely vivid to. having seen everything, and even getting her initials, but hey, the human brain is an amazing thing isn't it?

Ah well, it may have meant something but, I may never know.

Anyway, take care.

I'm gonna share some of my "relationship dream" experiences.

I've never really dreamed about a guy I didn't know and then ended up meeting him, but I have dreamed about certain men in my life, romantically of course, and have gotten together with them. I usually say hey, my subconscious knows I had a crush on them, big deal. But then there's guys who I've only seen or briefly talked to that I dreamed about dating and end up dating them.

I've also had dreams of breaking up, and they happen. There terrible too, because now when I get them I get scared that it might probably happen. Of course there's logical explanations for this as well. I once had a cream that my boyfriend (now ex) was getting with his ex behind my back. In the real world, I had my suspicions which probably transpired to the dream world, but the next day I find out they are back together and put an end to that quickly.

And just recently, I had a dream about the only man I've ever loved and who I believe may be a soul mate. We dated last year and it ended out of nowhere, never really understood why, he wasn't cheating and it was clear it was for my own good at the time. I hadn't talked or seen him since then. The dream consisted of us actually back together. I remember the dream so vividly, it was so real. I remember being extremely happy. I said to myself in the dream how I couldn't believe we were finally back together and he agreed. Then when I woke up and realized it was a dream, I had a tremendous deal of pain go through me. It felt like he broke up with me again and I moped around for the rest of the day. 2 weeks later, I bump into him at a party. I tried to not acknowledge him at all, he had hurt me by not talking to me, etc etc. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't. He kept talking to me and interacting with me. Now almost a week later, we've been talking online nonstop, since I re-added him on facebook. I'm still in shock that he's talking to me this much as he didn't this past year. We've flooded each others walls with posts and been having conversations about everything from phones to sneezing, just as silly as it used to be.

I'm just afraid I've gotten my hopes up. Of course I hope it escalates from there and we get back together, I have that gut feeling that he still cares and never stopped caring about me in that way. It just may stay on this friendship level and my dream meant absolutely nothing.

We'll see!!!

Well they say that all information is already available, past present and future.

I have no idea why I pick up what I pick up. But the Vargas Girl is a strong theme. Maybe you could meditate on it. All of the sudden I now think of Kate Beckinsale in Pearl Harbor. Which obviously is a bit earlier than I stated in my previous post. There is this strong 40-ies flavour.

I see this painted girl, read head with the Betty Page bangs and hair and that is again back tot the fifties. She is very young, red cheeks and all. And she is looking surprised with her finger against her lip. All very pin uppy.

I have memories from the past before I lived, even from the 19th century. Maybe indeed something from somebody's past.

Well I know the feeling, You see, I`ve been dreaming for this guy for quite a long time. I really wish I could find him because even If I try to convince my self he isn't real there is an awkward feeling saying he is..

I know exactly how he looks like, he has dark long hair and blue eyes to make the description part short...
So I guess that if I ever find him I will surely faint lol.

And I`ve heard some stories about people actually finding the real person after dreaming with them it must be amazing and freaky too.

Best of luck for you
