i would have more to say, but let me just say this

we all need to learn how to get along beyond what has been perpetuated unto this society so we don't need anyone like political leaders to supplement our life and livelihood

furthermore, if aliens do come into contact with us, don't trust them if it's just one alien race. demand that a "galactic union" of aliens come to the planet. but that could even be falsified. just use your intuition.

or hide in a cave, whatever.
