In case anyone has not noticed youtube has gone down over parts across europe with a page stating

YouTube is down for maintenance and will be back shortly.


"

How hard must we all sit back and enjoy the view to the new morning sunrise.

Unless I am missing something... that is something normal for website such as youtube to do regular maintainance. In fact I have seen that message on youtube quite a few times myself...

Could it just be that they are running mantainance on the site?

Or is there something more to the story here....?

If so, what is it?

70% down time to access is not maintenance.
