These agitators are setting traps.
You'll wind up on a commie red list if you go along with this garbage.
The government sets traps to attract radicals.

Are you going to eat that last piece of chicken?

Talk about paranoia.

Are you now or have you ever been a patriot?

Answer the question for the committee sir.

Be cautious with what you post on here. This is the regular forum not RATS. Statements like this have peen getting prosecuted. Speak in hypothetical terms.

So you want a rebellion? You can't.. The constitution says so.

If you want an educational discussion about rebellion and revolution then read through the pages of the thread listed below. It will give you more insight as to the cause an effect of a revolution and what it entails than anything posted so far in this current thread.

It is not nearly as simple as everyone thinks. By the way we had lots of help from other counties during our revolution.

So you want a rebellion? You can't.. The constitution says so.

Thanks for the replies, people, which far exceeded my expectations.

One thing I would like to note...some posters seem to be framing this whole discussion in the same old tired "liberal versus conservative" punch-and-judy-show rhetoric that came our of the 1800s. We are now in the 2000s, and as far as I'm concerned whether a Democrat or a Republican sits in office makes NO DIFFERENCE because their power is basically dwarfed by the banks and the federal reserve, the size of our debt, our dependence on foreigners to do everything from buy our bonds to sell us oil, our own rotten culture, etc etc...presidential or tradtional partisan politcs has so very little to do with things and it breaks my heart to hear ATSers, who should be more aware, truying to squash the multidimensional complexity of the crisis into a neat little 1-dimensional line with two points labled "lib" and "con."

Celente is realist who doesn't cowtow to ideology. He was just as harsh on Bush during the Bush years, now he's hard on Obama because he happens to be the man sitting in the chair while the ceiling collapses. But don't for a minute think that this doesn't go far, far beyond yesterday's stale parlor games of "left versus right." Time to put away those toys, kids, and wake up to a Brave New World.

Why do you think FEMA camps are being set up?

I meant THIS YEAR. He's been wrong about a lot so far this year. In the past, yes, he's been right, that's why he's getting airtime. But now he's just WAY off.

The country's doing pretty damn good, if you ask me... but I still think we're sitting on top of a big ponzi scheme.

Why it hasn't all crashed by now is beyond me, but it hasn't.

Viva la revolution!

I hope someone actually gets off their asses in the US soon - Goldman Sachs is just a front for the NWO - kiling those guys, even the board of directors won't solve thinghs - have to go a lot further up - but it would be a great start. As Gerald aluded - the High COurt is also a nice place to start - don't expect any chance to resolve things politicaly or legaly - the deck is stacked against the people in that regard.

Just learn to respect things that are greater than yourself.

True, for the most part the US citizens have learned to grovel at
the feet of the international banking cartel private bank that charges
us interest to print our own currency, but some ppl think that
them killing Kennedy for issuing exec order 11,110 was murder.

So for the murder of a US president by a bunch of financial pirates
some of us might want to see justice, but no one has really done
anything about it.

Also with the pre-planned collapse slowly rolling toward financial
collapse via the derivatives bubble and the Fed printing trillions
of dollars and refusing to even tell congress where it went,
some ppl are almost to the point of being upset.

Bill Gates got a pie in the face, but so far not a single member
of the Fed or the neo-socialists has had the pleasure.

Eisenhower and Kennedy got on TV and warned us, but so far we
are not real motivated by things other than porn, sports, religion,
and made up drama by a group of ppl that are largely socialists
or communists from the left coast.

So you are right, most sheep are still comfortable, and by the time
they are not comfortable or entertained it will be too late.

Hell I think it is too late now.

Thus my plan to bug out, hell most of the US population doesn't even
read books anymore or the news.

It is all about the entertainment, that is all the have time for.

I love the polls they do of young ppl asking them basic questions
and almost all of them get it wrong when it is REALLY simple questions.

That just proves you are totally right.

Here on ATS we read and write on the forums, but we are a TINY
minority of the population, and a good size portion of ATS are not
even in the US.

Ppl can't even see CFR, Trilaterals, and Bilderberg for what they are
even when the mainstream news covers Bilderberg, they refuse
to believe.

Ppl do not want to believe the new science czars book Ecoscience.

Ppl do not want to believe the book Limits to Growth by the Club of Rome,
who Al Gore is a member of.

Ppl do not want to believe the Georgia Guidestones even thou they
are literally carved in stone almost 30 yrs ago and stuck on a hill
in Georgia for all to see.

3 decades it has stood there, and the only protest to it calling for
the death of 6.2 billion has been some spray paint.

As long as the sheep has its grass to chomp on its perfectly content.

This again is why I have chosen to bugout, because decades of
corruption, printed evil, and carved in stone evil have failed to
awaken the american public so far.

This latest round of crying ppl are just the sick and lame worried
they will not be cared for under the new Euthanasia laws.

And still, not even one pie has been set flying...

You forgot to mention the Kennedy assination and that UFO's have been diactivating our nukes in ND.

What would you have people do? This is the way of the world now. The way we live our lives as best fitting to which the society we share as a whole sees fit.

There is no undiscovered country to explore/take over. There are no oppressive barons to war aginst. We have lives in which we work for a corporation and spend the money we make keeping others employed.

Please join us in the real world. Put down the heavy weight of paranoia you burden yourself with and try enjoying life. Stop looking down upon people because you know of the Georiga Guide Stone. Most everyone that reads ATS threads knows of it - and what changes does this make? There is still a cast system in place - its how society has evolved - becuase it works. Its effecient and the manner in which we all go about our lives is simple and fine.

You don't need a crusade to have a purpose in life. You dont need a revolution to change the way in which your government functions. You dont need to leave America because you feel people dont agree with you in needing/starting a revolution. If you truly believe there are issues that should be addressed running wont make you feel any better.

Your obsession with conspirecy and unknowen facts seem to have effected your qulaity of life. All I can say is calm down, take a break from reading that the sky is falling and develope some healthy relationships with people. I had a real hard time when I accepted John ONiel was probably killed and that 9/11 has too many unanswered questions. Ive read every book from all the known and unknown authors. As I sit back and consider the effort and time ive invested in all this I appreciate a much more complete understanding of the world ... but thats all I have to show for it. Im not running away, im not moving to the hills. I have insightful discussions with people, in person and on messaging boards like ATS. You know whats changes? - nothing, the world keeps spinning and the sky hasent fallen. I still have my eyes open and ready for what ever may come - with the knowledge I have gained I believe ill be better prepared. But as I see people in this thread insulting like-minded people with mutual interests isn't helping their cause or providing a better understanding.

note: this is full of type-os ill correct when I get back to my desk, my apologies.

So you know what being on your knees is good for?

You're right that those who fight will die and have no real chance at winning. However forcing Amerikan troops to fire on American Citizens may be what it takes to get the military back on our side. Plus who said anything about fighting the government? The government is owned by Wall Street and Big Buisness, so why shoot the puppet when you can aim for puppeteer? If there is anything we can learn from the unwinable "War on Terror" that the Gov/MSM has been selling us on is how effective one guy with beliefs and a weapon can be. It won't be rioting in the streets for the average American to show their support for freedom. It will be everyone knowing who fights for them and not one of those good people becoming the Snitches the man wants them all to be.

Celente made a good point. Americans are always talking bad and making jokes about the 'French'. If something is 'French' then it is bad. Funny how the French people always stand up, and be counted, when they feel they are being treated bad. What are the US people doing?

Where are the citizens?

This is a thread about Celente seeing a revolutionary trend in the near future....I agree with his assessment....Revolution can take many's not always about massive bloodletting that your earlier arguments were fixated on..

As far as insulting like minded people, thoughtful dissent is very helpful, but posts full of inaccuracies will be called out....

As far as helping others to understand the issues at hand, either they get it by now, or they are hopelessly asleep..

We have proved we are tolerant...
Now We Have To Prove We Are Worthy Of This Land...

we are gonna need a army to screen the laws for UnConstitutional Flaws, and Fix them. Be a Patriotic Lawyer... cough.. that protects our nation instead making it legal.
Another area that needs thought. "how do we prevent this from ever happening again"...?

the best Idea I have heard is we polygraph employees of the Federal and State and City once a year.(anyone who accepts government funds as income)... The question could be something like "Have you served the Citizens of your XXXXXX with honesty and integrity... ?

different levels of security will require all involved will have same security clearance. and one of the Polygrapher or witnesses will have supreme investigative\arrest power, (all powers expire in a decade law). this will start the ball rolling with legitamacy... again. and all federal crimes will be Polygraphed... fail the polygraph - you can request a retest within 30days. on temporarily no pay status until successful test. terminated, pending independant review of each case.

And I bet someone here will object... but this is the best idea I have came across... so if you poo poo ... you got come up with something better - OK
and If I win,.... Star and Flag me baby.!~

In other words, even if a sizable majority stays home munching fritos and watching it all on CNN, as long as 1/3 is willing to rumble, we have the potential to see real violence and a total upending of the government, financial system, and all the things we consider status quo.

In his most recent interview, he notes that we are probably close to that 1/3 mark. I've been listening to Celante for a long time and I've never heard him this vehoment. Keep in mind that every major prediction this guy has made has come true, from the '87 stock market crash and the fall of the Communism to the dotcom flameout and our curret troubles.

Here's his latest in 2 parts.

Part 1:

Part 2:
I can guarantee you there is going to be no physical revolution. Might be one over the internet. This is all I see happening. Some name calling and what not. But no one with guns is going to try and take on the GOVERNMENT. If they do they are stupid and will be killed by the government in ways that are top secret. So were kinda #ed. We are at the hands who are our overlords. Both military and the elites. Lets just hope they do a good job around the world. I dont have a fall out shelter.

You got me there. I guess if they did it in Thailand we might as well sign up for your revolutionary army.

This is the United States of America. With its many levels of Government from Federal to the State, all the way down to your local Government, as soon as you get a group of people together with weapons...or without... if they lack a permit for protest, they will be shut down. As for your rogue General, there are too many checks and balances within the Armed Forces today. You might get one or two soldiers that try to take action. Nothing on the scale of revolutionary terms. Think ... just think about what your saying. As if the 101 Tank Division is going to separate from the Army as a whole, with all its gear and move to Wyoming to start a revolution? Against who, other Americans, or are we still on those 'BAD GUYS that commit human sacrifice'!

You two are the only ones pitching this loonacy any more. Go think about what you've each said and come back to the table when you have some reason behind your statements.

[edit on 10-8-2009 by Mr.Hyde]

The whole point of my listing those modern events was to show you these things are possible and do happen all over the world, throughout human history, and even to the most unlikely countries when not even slightly expected. And why do you bag on Thailand?

But you have it stuck in your head that these things are an absolute impossibility of every happening in the USA because we have so many wonderful and flawless checks and balances, such a thing could NEVER happen.

Are these the same flawless, 100% checks and balances that have made the entire US banking and monetary system so glorious on this day in 2009?

Are these the same checks and balances that let the events of 9/11 occur?
Wasn't that an absolutely impossible event to the majority of populace in the USA? IF nothing else, shouldn't these absolute and flawless checks and balances have at least been able to scramble a jet at some point to intercept even one of the planes?

Nevertheless, I'm not trying to argue or attack you. But sh## does happen.
And in today's fast paced and hectic world the most jacked up, insane and crazy stuff can and does happen when least expected. But you refuse to accept any possibility of anything that doesn't flow with your mindset.
Hey that's cool with me. I can respect that. Maybe you have been of hanging out with the Joint Chiefs or something and you have the inside scoop and intimate knowledge of how the entire internal process of the US armed forces works.
Either way, to say I'm one a few people who are pitching this lunacy is a crock.
I've been lurking here for years and rarely pos,t and am not trying to pitch anything. You want to live in your protective little bubble and never accept any other possibilities, that's cool.
Thank you for the shortly stimulating discussion.

Those who do nothing to change the system will continue to be subject to the same system of government. Effective channels are established for change. Use your vote, lobby, write your congressman, petition your government. Exercise your freedoms we veterans have so sacrificially preserved for your happiness and well-being. Those who would overthrow or revolt have no careful plan for reconstruction, for the development of peace, the prevention of invasion during weakness, or changing the behavior common to man. Following your revolt and rebuilding of America, you will find the same corruption common to the state of mankind, and will regard your efforts, if you live to see them, as futile. You have the best system of representation. Use it.

Perhaps you could better occupy your time with constructive ideas for furthering the growth of the economy, and putting those ideas into practice. Start a business, hire people, pay wages and taxes....let's use our time effectively and fix the system. Can I get a h*** yes?
