'Racist bias' blamed for disparity in police DNA database

Almost one in four black children over 10 have their profiles on the UK police DNA database. The disclosure has sparked claims that the disparity with white children is undermining social integration. About a million children have been added since the UK's DNA database started in 1995. There has been a dramatic rise from 2004, when police were given the power to add profiles of people routinely arrested, even if not convicted of a crime.
"The racial bias is shocking," says Genewatch spokesman.

Compared to other countries, including the U.S., England appears to be enforcing racial bias and stereotypes with alacrity.

This is the government that liberals point to as an example of enlightened governance in such matters as "global warming" and "nationalized health care."

The British government has recently closed a consultation exercise on its proposals for DNA retention. In its submission, the NSPCC noted: "We find it extraordinary that a child who has been arrested, but not necessarily ever charged with or convicted of a crime, can have biometric DNA data about themselves kept for a period of up to six years. Given that the past few years have seen some substantial increases in arrests of children and young people for very trivial reasons, we find this extremely worrying."

In light of the Gates fiasco, this alarming revelation exposes the prevalence of racial bias among "liberal" people.

How long before "post-racial" becomes reality rather than liberal blandishment?
