OP, I certainly hope every thing has worked out well for you and your family. Like another poster has stated, I hope you have learned something from
this experience. Guns can be very intimidating and when you have children it just gives you one more thing to worry about, however you have found
yourself in a situation where gun shots are around you and you now have no options but to turn and run or duck and hide. For me, those are not even
viable options. I believe everyone should have access to a gun if they need one. I understand you have a special needs child, but there are many
precautions that a person can take to protect their children from their firearms while still having a firearm available to protect you and your
family. From trigger locks to gun safes, there are many options available.
It does not really matter if you believe in an NWO, that the economy will collapse to a point of complete social breakdown, or that Marshal Law is
coming soon. One thing most of us do agree with is that things will be getting much worse before they get better. Now would be a good time to ask
yourself, how would you protect yourself and your family in the event that you were forced to do so?
