I have been interested in the Earhart mystery, though I never dove into it. Watching the NatGeo special on it the other night, it has become far more interesting to me.

All the theories are fascinating.

What do you think the story is?

So a group that found some artifacts is going to run dna testing to see if the objects belong to AE.

I think this title is misleading. They don't even know if the artifacts will belong to AE, much less propose the mystery is close to being solved.

dna testing

But on the slim chance that this does turn up, it would be the news of the decade, that is for sure.

I don't know much about forensics, but why is it taking them 2-3 years to run dna tests?

I am surprised there are no responses. One of the great conspiracies of her death is that she was secretely working for fdr on an espionage mission. To spy on the japanese. They intended for her to get caught so she could report back on their locations in the pacifiic.

I’m still sifting through the great article you posted.
There's lots of information there to let sink in.
It’s fascinating isn't it!

I can’t wait to hear more from people here who are more *up* on the subject.

Keep researching and posting info here so we can gather the info in one place, it truly is a incredible fascinating piece.
