WASHINGTON (AP) -- The nation's drugmakers stand ready to spend $150 million to help President Barack Obama overhaul health care this fall, according to numerous officials, a staggering sum that could dwarf attempts to derail Obama's top domestic priority.
...
At the same time, the drugmakers are counting on the White House to block efforts by House Democrats to extract more than $80 billion from their industry in the legislation.

Never is ever about the people. The major Pharma is not doing this to aid the people. Pharma has a lot to gain from socialized medicine. With the government in the major Phama's pocket and with the very real outcome of socialized medicine, they will get free access to so many personal records and have a plethra of test subjects for new drugs.

You can almost see it now. Patient has an illness that conventional medicine will not fix but the Pharma companies have been working on a new fix. The fix might be cheaper so the government gives the go ahead on the trial. Outcome is the patient dies from complication, government responds with "well there was no other alternative", and Phama gets live data.

With the power of big Phama involved, I see little hope in derailing this socialized medicine. Soon the papers and TV's will be plagued with propaganda that supports socialized medicine and villifies those who are against it.

It is a shame that the people that stand to be hurt the most by such plans have very little money to stage campaigns against it. Instead people are trapped into public protests as the only way to express their discontent, which now are being made to look like criminals by the MSM.

Yeah, they are into injecting the masses, and then, when those people get ill, they will prescribe something else of their own.

Do not trust the hugely rich pharmaceutical companies.

Do not have the H1N1 injection.

My take on it is that the major Pharma is a profit industry and likewise does not have the better interest of people in mind.

On a side note I will not take any vaccines either.

For anyone who wants to do a little research it all starts with the Russell Trust.

The Russell Trust named after it's founder oversees two things.

One is Johns Hopkins Medical School, University and Hospital.

Two is a harmless little fraternity named Skull & Bones.

The Russell Family made it's fortune in Opium smuggling back in the middle 1800's.

They invented the Health Industry to provide an additional and legitimate outlet for the narcotics they were smuggling.

The Health Industry in America has always been a by product of the Pharmacutical Industry.

The fortunes made off of pharmacuticals is staggering and the list of known illnesses that require drug treatment just grows and grows along with their profits.

The whole notion of Nationalized/Socialized Managed Health Care is in part based on the desire of the Elite to have most every man, woman and child on some form of mind altering, thought numbing, addictive drug and to manage the population in that fashion by numbing them to their actual plight as human beings.

By inducing an artificial state of happiness it takes far less in the way of material wealth and comfort to make people happy.

Visit a crack gallery or a heroine shooting gallery and you will see perfect strangers happily lounging about in utter squalor and filth without a care in the world or wanting to be any place else in the world.

When it's time for their next fix, they will do anything, and I mean basically anything for it, in order to maintain that artificial feeling of contentment and not suffer painful and shocking withdrawals from the drug.

That's your nationalized health care for you, and they really would like to get it up and going before the economy gets much worse, so you don't really have to care that the economy is much worse and you have much less, and you certainly won't trouble them about it.

Now if you didn't read every word of my post you have Adult Attention Deficit Disorder and you really need to be on serious medication!
