Doesn't this sound suspicious? Sounds like some group attempting to discredit the protesters. It looks like a setup and smells like a setup, sounds like a setup. Might it be a setup?

Who would be behind such proclamations of violence? Would it be the so called "democratic party", or maybe the Obamanoids? How about those who live covert lives in the agency known as The Agency?

All i can say is it wold be a very unwise move on the part of protesters to heed this advice. i can see all kinds of negative actions arising from this. Such as new laws degrading our 2nd amendment rights, new laws degrading our freedom of speech, new laws degrading us as Humans period.

Someone needs to tweet that fool to shutup.

love and peace

I have to agree... I'm thinking set up as well.

That being said, it is not totally a bad idea, a person has every right to defend themselves. If you have a license to carry a firearm, then it is perfectly legal for you to do so and again, you are well within your rights.

Would it be unwise? Possibly. I can see new laws against the second amendment coming from all of this, but I have a better idea, instead of making new laws we can enforce the laws we already have on the books. You know, like the laws that make it illegal to assault people for no reason. If you can enforce those, than maybe protesters would not feel any need to show up to a protest armed.

I'm not going to defend this guy, violence is not the answer, it only hurts the cause. I am not against "Healthcare reform," I'm against socialized medicine. We have plenty of things we can do, such as health savings accounts, allowing insurance companies to compete nationwide, instead of companies hold monopolies over states. People call this the "free market" or a "free market" failure that we are spending so much, and 12% of Americans have no coverage...but there is NO free market in the current healthcare system.

Twitter does seem to be a calling card for protest at town hall meetings.

Healthcare town hall meetings - stay informed

A Washington-based conservative group is notifying Americans when and where their U.S. senators and representative will be holding healthcare town hall meetings this month.

The Traditional Values Coalition (TVC) is offering the free service and is encouraging Americans to take part in the town hall meetings in their congressional district. TVC executive director Andrea Lafferty says the events are an opportunity for Americans to register genuine concerns, not the "manufactured outrage" the White House claims is on display at the town halls.

Traditional Values Coalition

Go to Town Hall meetings and challenge your legislators on these issues:
Government-Run Health Care and the 53 New Federal Bureaucracies it creates.

Pledging to read Legislation before voting on it!

Unions Receive Increasingly Scary Threats Of Violence For Town Hall Participation

Union officials continued to receive a barrage of threats on Friday evening and into Saturday punctuated by warnings that if organizers were sent to counter-demonstrate at health care town halls they would be met with violence.

An official with the AFL-CIO, a federation of labor organizations, passed on what he described as a "pretty direct threat" to those union hands who were showing up to balance out anti-Obama demonstrations being waged at local Democratic forums.

"I will be going to a local town hall this weekend, all you union members BEWARE!" an emailer wrote at 9:40 Saturday morning. "We will be waiting for you. better make sure you have arrangements with your local ER. today is the day when the goon meets the gun. see you there."

An official with the SEIU said she had received 50 such emails, including the following one, which was edited to make suitable for publication.

You socialist f---s have the nerve to say stop the violence at the town hall meetings when they weren't violent until you p---ies showed up because your n----- leader obama said to?????? When we have ours in Racine, Wi, I want you there. I want one of your little b----- to put his hands on this Marine. I want one of you to look or talk to me wrong. I'll be the last thing your ignorant faux body guards will remember for a very long time. You can f---ing guarantee that.

Good I hope the extreme right and the extreme left wipe each other out at these town halls in one climatic show down. That way the rest of us can continue with our lives without either one of these groups of idiots distracting us anymore. Bonus points if they take a few politicians with them.

Doesn't seem so crazy now that Obama put fringe right wing groups on suspected terrorists list now does it?

SEIU receives phone call threatening gun violence over its health care reform advocacy.

The Service Employees International Union, which supports health care reform, received a call today falsely accusing it of engaging in “thuggish violent tactics” and claiming that if the union does not stop disagreeing with reform’s opponents, “y’all are gonna come up against the Second Amendment.”

No different from what the government ALREADY does for the disabled, infirm or elderly (Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, etc.) I don't see any reason to fear lower priced, government subsidized (for those unable to afford it) health insurance for the whole population. They're not talking about dismantling what's already in place for the general welfare, they're talking about expanding it.

Here is the reason to FEAR it.

The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission said in 2008 that 28% of Medicare beneficiaries had trouble finding a primary care doctor. This is up from 24% in 2007. The reason? A 2008 survey in Texas by the Texas Medical Association found that only 38% of primary-care doctors in Texas took new Medicare patients. The statistics are similar in New York state. WHY? Because Medicaid does not even pay the "production" costs of health care. Also the red tape involved is incredibly complicated and some nitpicker will go over it with a fine-tooth comb to figure out a way NOT to pay the doctor.

I was investigating a west coast company that had a sophisticated computer system designed to address the complexities and internal contradictions of Medicare repayment.

I was shocked at the level of detail required by Medicare, the insane repayment coding, and the conflicts setup in the system by said coding. Resolving the coding mysteries required a well-paid expert or software such as I was investigating. The payback for doctors for the software package was that they would simply get paid by Medicare. According to the company (and backed up by further due diligence) it turned aout that approximately 20% of Medicare reimbursement requests were never paid because of coding violations. And, after a year or so of fighting with Medicare, the offices simply wrote the unpayable AP as bad debt, since a collection agency will not serve on the US Government for some reason.
