Death of Taliban chief a blow to extremists

www.msnbc.msn.com

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Pakistan - Pakistan's Taliban chief was killed by a CIA missile strike, a militant commander confirmed Friday — a severe blow to extremists threatening the stability of this nuclear-armed nation and a possible boost to U.S.-Pakistani cooperation in fighting insurgents who wreak havoc along the Afghan border.

"Leader of group in Pakistan linked to Bhutto killing, many suicide attacks"

Well it seems like a big blow to Taliban, the cia hit home this time it seems. Hopefully like the article states, this will lead to peace talks and greater cooperation between them and us.

"Pakistani officials vowed to dismantle the rest of the network run by Baitullah Mehsud regardless of who takes over, a move seen as essential to crippling the violent Islamists behind dozens of suicide attacks and beheadings in the country."

No doubt this will create a power vacuum within the organization. I guess we could either see them fall apart of come under new leadership.

It seems they can't even keep their propaganda straight anymore. They tell us over and over that the Muslims want to be martyrs for Allah and that martyrs will attract more to their cause. Now these people suddenly want to live and are deserting because we are so affective in killing them. LOL right that makes a lot of sense. They plant these stories in the media to keep us from noticing that they are killing innocent women and children at weddings and funerals. The war in Afghanistan is not being won, though I have no idea how we would know if it was, it is continuing and will not end for many years. The plan is for endless war.

Any one who believes this nonsense by a"military commander" justifies our insane reason to be fighting a war in this unconquerable part of the world.

Yeah..........Bin laden is alive and well, living in a cave, grooving with a pict.
