'xld-sign' may have a 'January surprise'.
A 5/6 minute item will be shown on Dutch national TV
supposedly providing (a glimpse of) the 'making of' the Butterfly CC.
I've recently found out by talking to
a representative of a TV station named "BNN".
This has been an old rumor which
had never been confirmed in spite
of several people investigating it.
The representative was not willing
to provide any additional information,
besides stating, the broadcast would be in January,
neither anyone else was available to talk to.
So far, not any promotion/publicity
has been made about the broadcast of this item.
I've been waiting to post about this until there
would be some additional confirmation available.
Only some days ago I found an entrance
in the program schedule of BNN.
It briefly announces, among other items in this show,
one of the presenters is "going to make some crop circles".
It doesn't mention the Butterfly CC nor any other details.
The item will be broadcast during a sensationalist
trivial evening entertainment show this Sunday.
The show is called "try before you die".
BNN is known for trivial controversial programs
and heavy 'social engineering'
mainly targeting youth, with a lot of sex, drugs
and dubious/tasteless nonsense.
They are particularly known for staging a hoax
where a terminally ill lady was going
to donate her organs to the winner
of a live reality show/contest.
This particular national TV station (BNN) offers
an interesting gift to their new subscribers/members.
Euro 12,50 year membership, includes a pink..

About the show "try before you die":
Typically, one of the eight presenters,
in turn, performs some trivial challenge.
"Something they always dreamed of doing,
or what gives them cold chills".
The show is not a live broadcast,
there are 8 episodes (40min) and these
are being pre-recorded during the year
as different types of challenges are involved.
Example: One of the female presenters gets a twin-sister,
i.e. they have a 'full-featured' latex copy of her made.
They also have 'surprise' challenges
for each presenter.
Example from previous show: One of the presenters has to perform
a 10-second french-kiss with a 73 year old guy who
first is shown to clean his artificial teeth.
And so on..
Dutch national TV, sorry folks.
It happens to be the 'french-kiss' girl/presenter
who is "going to make some crop circles".
Peculiar fact is that this young lady, Geraldine,
is the recent winner of a contest to becoming a new
presenter for the BNN TV station.
This contest/show lasted 8 weeks, the final episode,
which she won, was broadcast on the 23rd of july 2009.
Link: "Final BNN Star Search" - 23 juli 2009.
She became "The new BNN presenter".
Two weeks later, the 7th of August,
the appearance of the Butterfly was announced
during a BNN live radio-show.
It turns out that indeed prize-winner Geraldine,
is posing in the xld-sign photo-op/group-shot,
only two weeks after she won the contest.
Interesting career start, to say the least.
The BNN radio host, as well as photographer Joop van Houdt,
initially made it clear during this live radio-show
nobody knew who created the Butterfly CC.
BNN has never publicly stated to be involved.
In the days and weeks following, several contradicting
stories were launched and retracted by xld-sign, also
several unconfirmed messages/images were posted
by dubious/unknown sources at several boards.
Much of this has been discussed on this thread.
After almost 5 months, the xld-sign website
still contains merely 1 actual image of the Butterfly CC,
a date and a note it was allegedly made by 60 people.
No additional facts/details, no links to external sites.
Are we finally going to see substantial evidence/proof
to the xld-sign claim of having created the Butterfly CC?
xld-sign/BNN have had 10 days,
from announcement at radio-show on the 7th of August
till harvest on the 17th of August,
to fabricate some footage, as I've pointed out sometime ago?
