I just came across this vid on youtube, and was wondering if any one could offer any insight into what the term 'Apollyon Rising' means? It is used in the context of 'Apollyon Rising by Dawn' in this clip, and it sounds very interesting, but I have no idea what it means.

Revelations 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

O ok so Apollyon is refering to Lucifer... so 'Apollyon Rising by Dawn' could mean 'Lucifer Rising by Dawn'??? Yeah it also talks about the New World Order in the clip, so it all seems to link in.

Thanks alot for your help!

AFAIK Abbadon is an angel of the pit, but not Lucifer. In every other reference he is referred to as Satan or Lucifer, or some poetic honorific like the Serpent, the Dragon...

Abaddon/Apollyon is literally 'place of destruction'. In this context, he is the king of the tormenting locusts and the angel of the abyss.

Apparently he is either Satan, Antichrist, another angel, or Jesus, depending on the scholar.

Apollyon Rising by Dawn, kinda seems to be in reference to the soon to rise Antichrist then perhaps?.. a bit like the Phoenix rising out of the ashes of the old order???
