White House to Dems: 'Punch back twice as hard'...

Top White House aides gave Senate Democrats a recess battle plan on Thursday, arming the lawmakers with tips for avoiding disastrous town hall meetings while showing them polling on popular aspects of the reform effort.

They showed video clips of the confrontational town halls that have dominated the media coverage, and told senators to do more prep work than usual for their public meetings by making sure their own supporters turn out, senators and aides said.

“If you get hit, we will punch back twice as hard,” Messina said, according to an official who attended the meeting.

I hope we all begin to realize what is going on here. This is a battle over ideology, plain and simple and the smash mouth tactics of the left is showing their desperation.

Shutting down debate and dissent is arguably the most unAmerican thing an administration can do and they are only doing it because they know they can not win the battle with logic and honest debate.

One of the first things Mao did upon taking power was to forbid people to eat in their own homes. He knew that the kitchen table was where the grass roots were started and gathered strength. During the hight of Mao's reign, all Chinese ate in government run cafeterias. This is one small step down that road. Left or right, this is not an acceptable tactic from the Chief Executive

Wow, I never really gave much credence to the complaining about chicago style bully politics. But the proof is in the pudding. This goes right along with the gathering of info on dissenters and party enemies by informants.

Then there's nancy pelosi and the rest of the lying criminals saying they think the outrage is staged and claim nazis were present...and they call us conspiracy theorists. BTW ABC News has reported the protests are genuine.

The administration just can't stand the fact anyone disagrees with them. Pure fascist intimidation when faced with even the slightest protest.
