I'm talking about your lame game of arguing just for the sake of arguing. You rarely ever have a purpose. Focus and you might realize what we are talking about.

But since you are keeping score. Did you not claim TWICE in this thread that Palin was going to lead GOP and were TWICE proven wrong.

Again, you are being disingenuous. I did not predict anything.

Also, what did this have to do with you winning a debate with facts and logic like I do with you all the time?
Again, you are confused. It's ok.

Is ignorance truly bliss?

You would know, you would know.

Oh, and I guess my analysis of your previous post regarding the percentages was correct since you convienently did not mention it.

So if it's wrong for the "Right wing mob" to be sending out organizing materials and such cause that just dampens a "spontaneous" protest, then what about this from Acorn?

I'll say this for Acorn they come prepared

Hannity on Fox is down in San Diego at a freedom concert and they just keep thrashing on the White House's tactics being used at the town hall meetings, and just they way in general Mr. O's admin has been pushing and rushing all these policies without letting the people have time to grasp the attatchments that come with these policies. Good stuff
It's about time!!!!!!! Now that the masses across the country are finally starting to stand up and voice their opinion, standing up and challenging the decision makers, standing up to defend their freedoms, standing up and letting the powers that be know WE THE PEOPLE will be heard. We are not terrorists or extremists, we are FREE PEOPLE. So what do our leaders do they go and hide behind closed doors and will not come out to play. Run and hide do they.

Knowledge is Power and everyone of you have a voice USE IT!!!!!!!!

TO be honest, the town halls had memos sent out asking conservatives to "PACK THE HALLS" and telling them where to stand and what questions to ask and...

. . .

Rush Limbaugh took care of this yesterday.

Hey I would be there but once again I have to work for a living .... and btw I do not watch fox or TV for that matter. Every bit of news and information I dig up myself. So stop painting everyone with a wide brush....

I don't know where you get your numbers from but the national debt is only 11 trillion. I highly doubt medicaid debt surpasses the national debt.

And no I'm not saying "everythings bad for me so screw everyone else". Some of you right wingers are so afraid someones gonna take the cookie out of your hand.

This is one of the richest nations on this earth and we should be able to provide reasonable and affordable healthcare to all. Not just the one that can afford it.

Your posts speak volumes .... You act like We right wingers are so evil and so selfish because We don't want to be taxed more. How on earth do You get the gaul to assume You are better than We are when You came out and said You are on welfare? I mean seriously You can't even put yourself in our shoes because You are on our dime. So please stop Your sanctimonious belly aching and insults because from where I am concerned You are the selfish one.

Hmmmm I am a republican and I am middle class. Oh wait the last time I checked the majority of republican voters were middle class. Keep speaking Your mindless dribble and no I am not responsible for draining out welfare or social security. I believe You need to point Your finger at ALL the reps not just republicans or democrats.

I should say these folks have just as much right to protest as anyone else. I personally don't agree with the health care bill as it stands right now and can completely understand why some would be upset and want to voice that.

Not everyone who chooses to protest is right wing or left wing or whatever part of the bird you care to be on. I prefer to stick to the middle of the road myself as some ideas from both groups make sense to me. This is just one of those things from the Democrats that I don't agree with. Doesn't make me a racist, doesn't make me a right wing nut and it doesn't make me a Nazi. The only thing it makes me is a concerned citizen who doesn't agree with the way this country is headed.

Just because you agree with the health care bill or don't agree with it doesn't make the other party a wackjob.

Of course I didn't agree with the motivation of cash for clunkers either but that's neither here nor there.

Have you been under a rock?

This is exactly what Obama is talking about. He is talking about nationalizing Healthcare. Don't tell me you are one of the gullible people who fell for the Health Insurance term instead of Healthcare. They are the same thing.

I suggest you read the committee reports and the actual bills that are being proposed--there are many ideas on the table right now. Then you can talk about specifics and we can have a conversation.

Wow... really? You want to "wipe all of [us] out at the drop of a hat" with your "guns"?

You actually want a civil war don't you?

It seems that way...

So I rest my case. This doesn't seem to be fueled by civility as much as animosity.

[edit on 7-8-2009 by HunkaHunka]

Actually the left seems like its asking for the civil war. If you disagree with Obama's policies You are called a Racist Right Wing Extremist. The DHS releases a report saying Veterans, Christians, Anti-Abortionist, Tax Potesters, & Anti-Globalists are all considered possible terrorist. Then they pass hate crimes legislation that protects anyone except for White Christians. Then Obama starts calling people stupid racists on TV. The dems refuse to listen to us on the bail outs. Then the dems pass the cap and trade taxes that will screw everyone. Now we have healthcare reform that is going to take the burden off of big business and put it right on the middle classes backs...

So please tell Me why any independent or conservative should not be pissed off. I don't know if You realize but the tax payers are a minority in this country at only 89 million people. I think some of those tax payers might be hacked off especially with how things are going to day.

Easy You want to lower healthcare costs.... This one is very easy and if You were a Ron Paul supporter instead of a participant of the 2 party system You could figure it out......

www.usatoday.com...

www.usatoday.com...

media.www.jhunewsletter.com...

If You read these ideas You might have a clue to one of the problems.... The main problem is the government has stepped in and regulated the hell out of the medical industry. The government came in during Nixon and shut down medical school left and right. The government also started rationing doctors to lower the numbers. Why did they do this? Well according to them We were going to have a glut on doctors in the future meaning the care would be cheaper. So in essence the federal government F*cked us all to keep healthcare high. So if You want to fix the problem You need to attack big business and then let the market take over. Wouldn't it be better to attack the insurance companies and the drug companies considering the fact that they have been getting governmental favors after all these years. They could also give out scholarships and tax breaks to encourage people to become doctors.......

So which would be cheaper to put 3 million doctors through medical school for 8 years or to tax the hell out of 89 million people to provide #ty care for 330 million people?

Man You are so right and I never thought of it that way. Insurance in itself interferes with the free market and actually drives up costs. As a matter of fact if We didn't have health insurance and government interference We would have cheaper care and better care. Why on earth did our grand parents have better care and the doctor would actually come to You? WTF is going on here? Would be nice if the doctor would make house calls for a sick child ... But OH NO we have to get the child together go to the emergency room and then sit in line for hours while all the Illegal aliens get treated first .... Not only do We have to wait but We have to pay for the ten illegals that came in and refused to pay.... Socialism in its finest!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Problem was it was a meeting with SEIU organized, arranged, and paid for by the union. The men and women "protesting" were, in fact, trespassing. Then they became disruptive, they were expelled.

If right-wingers could learn how to speak without screaming, and make some sort of sense when doing so, they'd be welcome. Until then, as far as I'm considered, they can keep picking ticks out of hteir asses in whatever caves and doublewides they dwell in.

Just because they don't want to undertake another $Trillion dollar debt for another inflated gov't bureacracy that will take choice away from them and put it into the hands of Obama so that he can ration their health care, means they are sore losers?

No, the problem is unless they sold tickets to the event or otherwise had some claim to sole exclusive access to the event, all members of the public were welcome to a town hall meeting with one of their representatives. Don't spread bs like that.

At least they don't wear ski masks like some coward leftist 'protestors' do. And screaming is free speech.

Until then, as far as I'm considered, they can keep picking ticks out of hteir asses in whatever caves and doublewides they dwell in.

Sorry. They are all occupado by the leftwing radical extremists that scream free speech when they disrupt meetings but cry foul when the tables are turned.

If they don't know how to behave civilly then they should be.

There are people who attend them wanting to be informed and the asinine behavior of the protesters is preventing those who do want to learn more about it and to ask legitimate questions from being heard.

Civil discourse is one thing...this is something all together different...it is an organized attempt at disrupting the whole process.

Bring your own pillow, I am sure plenty of tar can be found in Washington these days.

I may be incorrect but I was under the impression that protests are no longer "allowed" in Washington DC. I thought one of Ron Paul's protests last fall was the last to get a permit.

The whole situation fills me with disgust. It is obvious the government elect had an agenda with all the bills written well in advance. Several thousand page bills hit the Congressional floor this spring and it is evident they were written well in advance. I have been following the Food bills for several years and the new bills this spring were different than I usually see.

there is not a lot of point to stuffing a town meeting with people who agree with you. that is what we call "preaching to the choir". They already agree with you so you haven't gained any support. I suppose if you think that a meeting full of smiling, nodding people will get on the news somehow and everyone will go WOW THAT MUST BE A GREAT IDEA! then it would work, but quiet meetings rarely make the news and most of us are so worn down by incessant advertising everywhere we turn that one more pitch means nothing.

the only way to gain support is to engage with the audience and see why they aren't convinced it's a good idea. in fact, it shouldn't be a matter of just saying the right things to win them over, to fool them, but to address legitimate concerns.

what's wrong with asking about cost? details of all sorts? that's the normal way to do things.

Oh please man.. puhlease... There are people in the US getting bills of 1.5million dollars for the birth of their child. You think your system works? LMAO. I'm in NZ where we have public health care and I can assure you it is good, I have choice, it works. I even have full private coverage for my family should I choose to go to a private hospital and that costs me $45US dollars a month!

As for the racist comments I'm originally from the deep south US and that is verbatim of what I hear when I visit. Hell.. my own mother wore an Obama button on her shirt and was called a terrorist and spit on.
