It is my belief that these 'disruptions' are largely set up.

It's not to say that there are not some 'real' protesters/questioners there. However, most people when they want answers or really want to get a point across, that they will not scream to do it.


I am of the belief that we will see a rise in these 'disruptions' over the next few years (if not months), until we actually have riots. However, I don't think it's -just- because of the Health Care issue.

Just looking at the general emotional 'tone' of ATS over the past few months, it has shifted from being fairly mellow, to where it's almost ludicrously 'angry.' That it seems like it takes less and less time for people to 'get hot' over an issue, or to react with negative posts.

In my sig, I say that I doubt the NWO is organized. Looking at the various fires and 'smoke clouds' being generated on an increasing basis, it is like the NWO (or what ever you want to call 'them',) are fighting/acting in a contrary manner; where one group is blocking another, which blocks another. In short, they are hardly unified in purpose or action.

Though it seems like the only agenda they can agree on: is that riots, civil unrest and confusion have to be elevated or pushed to happen. That they are looking to create huge sociological fractures in the USA, more so than the other countries of the world. To what end, *shrug* I suspect there are numerous goals, and since I think the NWO (or whoever they all are) all have their own separate goals (often cross purposes to each other); it likely will never be clear.

Part of me suspects that if they can get massive riots and so on, there will be lots of disappearances and mysterious deaths; as the NWO (whoever) conduct a shadow war trying to kill each other off. All under the smokescreen of civil unrest, martial law and so on.

Not to mention, that if there is a massive and 'lethal' flu/plague/what-have-you rolling through, it could be another venue or smoke cloud for their 'war.'

But then this is all just part of my personal theory on the 'disruptions' et al.

If government is supposed to totally control healthcare and our lives, our founding fathers with all their wisdom would have put this provision into the Constitution. Or this would have been mentioned in the Bill of Rights or even in one of the Amendments to the Constitution.

It would have fit nicely next to the right of free speech and religion and the right to bear arms. But for some reason I don't see the right to free nationalized healthcare. Hmm.....


But the Bill of Rights and Constitution only mentions the rights of the people to have individual freedom and the right to NOT have the government involved in our business. How problematic for all you socialists out there.

You are right. Our founding fathers sought to obtain freedom from nationalization brought on by high taxes, religious imposing, and pretty much everything else. United States was created to preserve the individual rights and freedoms of everyone. Nationalizing corporations, banks, health care, and other systems is not constitutional. You have to fight to preserve those freedoms, and that is what these protesters are doing.

It doesn't work anywhere else and that's why it wont work here. Those are the facts. Unless little Johnny with cancer gets chosen in the lottery (like in canada for example) He'll just have to keep waiting till the next month to see if his cancer gets treated. People are getting mad over the health care more because it's going to be paid for by the people and the people just can't pay for everything else, we have to work on those BAIL OUTS and everything first. But that's just too logical right? The other things, the FED and all the other crap will have to be delt with after everyone gets together and this healthcare issue is in fact bringing everyone together for multiple reasons. If you watched the videos you can see that those people are there for multiple reasons INCLUDING the FED and the loss of liberties.

My grandparents, great aunts/uncles were around then. Saw and suffered The Great Depression. Now they feel helpless. They've been shot down for speaking up because they are 'old and senile' and 'fearful of all the memories. It won't happen again.'

Too bad we don't respect our elders more and find excuses to dismiss the knowledge they have.

... i dont know what to think. although i agree, and am totally against obama's health care plan, im kind of irritated that this is what they chose to protest. i mean, this is a nice thing to add to the list, but there are a few other things that deserve protest more than that issue.

We do have a right to protest the endless bail outs, running the national debt into inconcievable numbers trillions and quadrillions!

These protests are a sham, somehow i got put on freedomworks/ dick armey's e-mailing list, the past month they have been sending out emails with all the horror stories about their future under the reform, and telling everybody to "turn up the heat" and such. It's so funny how the right spits all their BS about small government when it doesn't match their agenda, but they DEMAND forceful government intrusion into the lives of other citizens whom they disagree with. They are easily stirred into a frenzy because they are cowards, afraid of their own shadows. But they sure love to puff up their chests when they are sure they're not in danger. Hypocritical cowards, nothing more.

In any case, an interesting aspect of this report is that ABC didn’t find any “fake” protesters but found instead that all the angry attendees were actual voters that actually lived in the Congressman’s district.

There were no lobbyist-funded buses in the parking lot of Mardela Middle and High School on Tuesday evening, and the hundreds of Eastern Maryland residents who packed the school’s auditorium loudly refuted the notion that their anger over the Democrats’ health care reform plans is “manufactured.”

This is, of course, the facts on the ground at every townhall. There are no “manufactured protests.” It is real citizens that are real angry at Obama’s socialist policies.

No, what is disgusting is the hypocrisy of the right. I'm not a part of either "wing", so my opinion is unpolluted by what party lines DICTATE. They are NOT for less government, just less government in THEIR lives, but again, demand more government intrusion into the lives of others. I'm for less government in EVERYBODY'S life. Those emails are meant to scare old people into a frenzy, which it's done with misinformation, plain and simple. Those are not just americans making their voices heard, they're all cowards who have been told the sky is falling. It is, but not because of the reasons those old farts think it is. Remember, the right was in power until january, and less government was NOT on the agenda. These angry mobs are a joke, a bunch of scared old people being told what to say. If it was their opinion, the email wouldn't have to tell them what to say. They don't even understand what they're reading, only that it scares them.

If it takes health care to wake people up and expose a liar then that's what it takes. But remember, once people wake up to government lies and gestapo tactics that pickle will never be a cucumber again.

People will naturally become more willing and receptive to know what other lies they have been told, and that is where the opportunity is.

Healthcare was not an issue like it is now. They didnt have insurance companies. they didnt have hospitals charging $100 bucks a bandaid.

They had country doctors that would pay you a visit.

Since when did any right wing extremists believe in the constitution anyway?

We have to many selfish people in our nation. Unless its about a banks bailout then they are cool with that kind of welfare. Or Reagan's welfare for the rich, or Bush's thousand points of light AKA welfare for the rich. Or the military industrial complex AKA welfare for the rich.

Dont try and make it so the average Joe doesnt have to decide between feeding the kids and getting healthcare....no buddy thats socialism!

Honestly, who gives a flying F if various people and organizations are sending out emails to citizens and informing them about what is going on? This is how politics works, people and/or organizations with opposing viewpoints try to garner support in many different ways. It's known as "freedom of speech".

However, to sit there and just label all of this as some kind of organized "mob" is absolutely ludicrous and asinine. People from both sides of the aisle, as well as people with no particular political affiliation, are standing up and saying NO MORE. We've been pushed around by the government for long enough, and it is FINALLY boiling over.

They've been wiping their a**es with our Constitution, and the American people seem to finally be waking up to that fact.
The only change we should believe in is going to come from the American people. The system is corrupt, it needs a complete and total revamping, and we will never get that from our precious government.

The only people with their pants in a wad over health care is the extreme right wing nut jobs like the birthers and tea party gangs. You have 26% of people calling themselves republicans now days and then you figure this is a few of their core base, you only have a splinter of the population freaking out, the rest of us like what we see trying to be done. If you are against health care reform, you are either one who cares not for your fellow man and a "I got mine, screw everyone else" type of person, you are an ideologue and a follower of the mob, or you are a stupid person being used by the corporate elite for their purposes. You can't tell me that the health care industry is killing us, I have United Health Insurance and we have been told as of September 28th, our premium is going up 40%! We need to take Wall Street out of the health care industry, they are sucking 30% of our health care dollars to pay their gambling winnings. If you do not see the need for health reform you are either stupid, self centered, have a stake in the game based on greed, or all of the above. The republican base has to be the lowest educated group of people in the country and their behavior makes them look like a laughing stock.
