>>The reason is thes people are not Iraqis, they are Al-Qaida, and the statement they made has nothing to do with the prison abuses, and everything to
do with inflaming the people in the US and her allies.<<
Al-Qaida has had a thriving "snuff movie" business for many years.
Their main base is in Chechenya. They torture and kill bound hostages there in that base, in all the gory detail of close up videos, and have a ready,
and huge market for their "products" throughout the Middle East.
They have done, for years. I doubted this when told about it some years back, and a contact sent me copies of some of their sickening "human
sacrifices" so that I would be under no illusion of the reality. These insults to humanity really relish their work.
They, and their supporters, have no respect for life, no respect for humanity, no respect for, or understanding of, decency.
Every worthwhile human value, they spit on with contempt as being a weakness.
Burying them in a pigskin shroud is too good for them.

Easy Solution
The United States needs to stop fighting like a third world nation with sticks and stones and do something that tells the world we are still as tough
as we used to be. The New World Order wants to fight with sticks and stones because a long drawn out war is making them lots of money.
I say, remove all our troops and all our citizens, and then drop a nice Neutron Bomb over the whole place. Kille verything living and leave all
structures, etc. in tact. Then we go in and control the oil and the stinking desert. By this action, we tell the world that we are not to be messed
with. The world was damn scared of us when we dropped Fat Man and Little Boy on Japan. Let's have another go at it!!

Something tells me that while Mr Zabilgy might "inspire" many with his words of shock and awe, that he did not mean what he said. Black humor is
subject to misinterpretation in cold hard text form.
Ahhh... but maybe a self-remembering man would have known just that, when he awarded his humanitarian award.
I remember Mr Berg, R.I.P. His parents have been quiet of late.

well admonished my masked buddy. perhaps it is good to clear up these meanings for the less sarcastically endowed among us.
all quiet on the western front. it seems that all evidence of wrongdoing, no matter how compelling, overwhelming, or flat out proof of, is quickly
forgotten and ignored. this seems to be a well oiled tool of the oligarchs.

I didn't download the video; I hate seeing people beheaded... it just freaks me out. Nonetheless, the topic interested me, so I downloaded the mp3
audio and skipped to the end.
I have Nuendo, it's a professional audio editing program which comes with alot of tools to manipulate the audio... namely the different frequencies
in the audio... all audio is is just a bunch of frequencies... low (bass) to medium (vocal) to high (treble).
Because of the low volume of the speech in the background, I used a "compressor", which is a device which enables selected frequencies to be raised
in volume. You can isolate frequencies by say lowering the low and high frequencies (the bass and treble) and raising the midrange (vocals) to bring
out, or "raise the volume" of those frequencies. This wont "reveal" any "hidden" frequencies, but rather make the ones you isolate more detaild,
and hence, more noticeable.
I played around alot with the compressor, but because of the large amount of "white noise", it was hard to bring out the vocals of the people in the
background. Nonetheless, I did notice something akward about the nature of the "white noise" - I should note that I havn't seen that movie and
don't plan to - but what I heard is something that you can hear in the original recording by yourself, but you probably didn't notice it because you
wern't listening for it.
There's three layers of audio that you can pay attention to...
-one is the dialogue
-the other is the room ambiance (the loud droaning and hissing)
-the thing I payed attention to is in the middle of those above things.
It's most noticeable at these points... before the line "That was wicked" and before the last line, "How we gon..."
Bear with me... but it goes *something like* this...
(After the yelling)
"Come-on red sweat-ers that make fun of [then inaudible - dialogue speeds up, voice raises, yelling] lots of racket!!!"
"That was wicked"
(unaudible comment)
then the following overlaps the remaining dialogue-
"and... and... and... and..." (or) "n... n... n... n..."
"Yeah"
"How we gon..."
Even though it was a compressed audio file fram a compressed audio source, and such anomalies could occur with a number of various types of
compression and passes; I dont really know what the hell all of that is supposed to be... Maybe somebody else can elaborate on that... or call me
odd... no big deal. I just thought it was kind of freaky sounding; like I said, you can listen for it yourself without a compressor, just turn up the
volume alot.
But I did find something that might be useful... When I isolated the compressor to recognize only a high range of freqencies, I was able to render the
audio so that I could actually see the waveforms of the four pieces of dialogue. "That was wicked" had the most amplitude, whomever said "Yeah"
right before "How we gon..." had the least amplitude. And "How we gon..." had the exact same amplitude as whatever was said after "That was
wicked". This would suggest that three people were in the room, since two out of the four lines of dialogue shared a similar amplitude.
But who knows.

Rationalizing Evil
For those who seek to rationalize the capture, torture and butchering of hostages, I just want you to know that I'm on to your game.
All that is needed for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing.
But for some, that's just not good enough. They will seek to rationalize and justify cold-blooded murder by pointing to some lame excuse or
another.
Those of you who do this: You are part of the problem.
As long as you support hostage-taking and butchery, then you are a servant of evil, and I will have nothing to do with your lies and deceit.
Just so you know.
My hope is that someday you will develop enough of a conscience to realize you were wrong before the darkness of your hatred consumes you utterly.
If not, you were at least warned.

how about oil? is oil a lame excuse or is it a legitimate reason to invade another nation? I want to see one foreign contract worker (corporate whores
profiting from the misery of the iraqis) beheaded in the most gruesome ways possible for each iraqi killed. That totals more than (officially) 15,000
workers. let the bloodbath begin.

So Ignorant
What do you not get about oil ? Yes oil is a big reason that we are at war,no matter what side you are on it is the fact of the week for the world. So
tell me do you use no oil because if you do you are just as guilty as Bush or any of the others you hate so badley. Without the oil this country and
any other country will die and die very fast because everything you see and everything you touch and all of your earnings at your job all depend on
oil. So just because you do not make a direct profit from oil you are just as guilty as Bush or some Saudi Prince because you are the user of the evil
OIL

Yeah your right. Strangely, I dont see the Department of Defense video taping such actions. In fact, I see no one taping anything like this about
the US. Could it be that its not happening at all, or very little? I smell a conspiracy!

Wow, I thought this thread would be dead by now. Oh well.
Anyway, something that happened to me when this video was released was that I immediately recieved about 50-60 SMSs and 15 (give or take) missed calls
on my mobile. Why you may ask?
Well, I was in the Military and the strangest thing is that Nick Berg looks EXACTLY like me in the wide angle shots of him sitting on the chair. the
missed calls were from family members worried that the video was actually of ME! (Stupid family - 1; I was in the Australian Army not US. 2; Not
infantry or any frontline corps. 3; People seemed to forget that I was discharged due to breaking both my legs in a training accident a YEAR before).

Most Terrible Videos
As ghoulish as this video no doubt is, I cannot verify that I've seen it. I had the misfortune to see another once.
Such films depicting the nature of our foe, the world's foe, should be seen by more people however. Too much time is spent televising the
'collateral damage' caused by the laudable efforts of the West to stem the tide of Islamic Imperialism. It can no more be avoided than the hundreds
of thousands killed during the similar efforts to destroy the warmaking capacity of Germany/Japan in WWII.
The nature of the enemy is clear from his tactics. The Nick Bergs of the world have come under their knife. If militant Islamic aims are not
addressed appropriately, next will be our children.
These films should be seen.
