i think you'd be pretty offended if it was your head.
saying that there have always been monsters doesn't make it okay to be a monster. this is a bad argument. things have always been like this, yes, but.....
it is because people get 'offended' and stand up for justice that the vlads, and the hilters and bushes are not allowed by history to become omnipotently powerful uberdemons.
you are preaching apathy which is giving YOUR power to THEM. people of good conscience must will use their power to oppose the evil meglomaniacs from taking over the whole planet and turning it into a warzone/prison.

I didn't download the video; I hate seeing people beheaded... it just freaks me out. Nonetheless, the topic interested me, so I downloaded the mp3 audio and skipped to the end.

I have Nuendo, it's a professional audio editing program which comes with alot of tools to manipulate the audio... namely the different frequencies in the audio... all audio is is just a bunch of frequencies... low (bass) to medium (vocal) to high (treble).

Because of the low volume of the speech in the background, I used a "compressor", which is a device which enables selected frequencies to be raised in volume. You can isolate frequencies by say lowering the low and high frequencies (the bass and treble) and raising the midrange (vocals) to bring out, or "raise the volume" of those frequencies. This wont "reveal" any "hidden" frequencies, but rather make the ones you isolate more detaild, and hence, more noticeable.

I played around alot with the compressor, but because of the large amount of "white noise", it was hard to bring out the vocals of the people in the background. Nonetheless, I did notice something akward about the nature of the "white noise" - I should note that I havn't seen that movie and don't plan to - but what I heard is something that you can hear in the original recording by yourself, but you probably didn't notice it because you wern't listening for it.

There's three layers of audio that you can pay attention to...
-one is the dialogue
-the other is the room ambiance (the loud droaning and hissing)
-the thing I payed attention to is in the middle of those above things.

It's most noticeable at these points... before the line "That was wicked" and before the last line, "How we gon..."

Bear with me... but it goes *something like* this...

(After the yelling)

"Come-on red sweat-ers that make fun of [then inaudible - dialogue speeds up, voice raises, yelling] lots of racket!!!"

"That was wicked"

(unaudible comment)

then the following overlaps the remaining dialogue-
"and... and... and... and..." (or) "n... n... n... n..."

"Yeah"

"How we gon..."

Even though it was a compressed audio file fram a compressed audio source, and such anomalies could occur with a number of various types of compression and passes; I dont really know what the hell all of that is supposed to be... Maybe somebody else can elaborate on that... or call me odd... no big deal. I just thought it was kind of freaky sounding; like I said, you can listen for it yourself without a compressor, just turn up the volume alot.

But I did find something that might be useful... When I isolated the compressor to recognize only a high range of freqencies, I was able to render the audio so that I could actually see the waveforms of the four pieces of dialogue. "That was wicked" had the most amplitude, whomever said "Yeah" right before "How we gon..." had the least amplitude. And "How we gon..." had the exact same amplitude as whatever was said after "That was wicked". This would suggest that three people were in the room, since two out of the four lines of dialogue shared a similar amplitude.

But who knows.
