I recently tried to upload the Obama joker pic onto my profile on myspace, only to be denied by the site because it was "inappropriate or offensive". I can understand how some people may get upset about it being in the streets, but c'mon... Sites blocking it? What is this country coming to? Since i couldnt make it my profile pic, i just made it the background of my profile haha what do you think of this?

That's outrageous. I'm going to go try and upload this right now and see if it's for real. If not... good practical joke.

We should send the pic to who ever the CEO of the company that owns MySpace is that would be funny.

Why so serious?

WHAT THE #??? That's ridiculous. I've uploaded many copyrighted images to my MySpace (movie posters) and there's never been a problem. I've never seen this before on MySpace and I use it daily.

Websites have the right to censor what they want and when they want. If you don't like it, use a different website. It's the same as ATS having rules that some people may think are a little silly, but it's ultimately their decision.

Personally though, I don't think we should censor anything. If you don't like the Obama joker picture, then look else where.

Edit: You beat me phi1618

Yea, im the same way, maybe i dont use it everyday, but ive seen way more "offensive material" than a picture of Obama as the joker.

Its just to see if they consider it offensive just because its Obama or if they really do find all images of him offensive or a copywright infringement.

oh oh oh oh you know what someone should do??? put up a really big pik of the joker with the American flag as his face paint!!!!

seems that the other one works, but it must be because of the "socialism" beneath it, otherwise, i dont see how it could be a copyright infringement if the original artist hasnt even come out yet..

Hmm well if you rename and crop ever so slightly.. it works
