Apologies if this was brought up before, my thread searching was fruitless.

I'm just curious to how the Kenyan Obama believers respond to this newspaper clipping from the Star Bulletin in Hawaii.

How does this document come to exist if Obama was really born in Kenya?

Did Obama's family plan this from an early stage and release false birth information to the newspapers right as he was born in Africa?

Or maybe Obama time traveled and edited the newspaper?

Newspaper microfilm has been forged?

Two Obamas?

Or that this is actually real....which as unexciting may be can possibly well be the truth.

It was explained in the highly popular recent thread with this quote:

At that time there were it seems FOUR different ways to obtain a BC in Hawaii. Of course, one way, would be to have your baby in a hospital, witnessed by and delivered by a doctor.

The other ways to obtain a BC at that time would not require ANY "witness". You could simply contact the Hawaiian Records Department and say "I just had a baby at home and would like a BC. Here's the baby's birth info". That basic birth info (parents, name of baby) would then be made public and given to the Hawaiian media, which would publish the info in the paper.

So, the paper is very likely legit. Nobody I've seen has suggested that it's not. What those who believe that BHO was born in Kenya believe happened is that Obama's mamma called home after giving birth in Kenya and had her mother send in the info to get a Hawaiian BC for her son. There would be numerous reasons for doing so. Of course, she would want her son to be considered an American citizen for all the benefits that comes with that. Secondly, if she had her mother send her a copy of the BC to Kenya, when the parents returned to Hawaii they would have "documentation" for their baby.

Cheers for digging out that quote, I had troubles.

So the belief is that it is more likely that his birth was extremely well planned out rather than he was actually born in Hawaii??

Usually when information comes out like this in the UFO forum someone drops the one liner "Occam's Razor"

Sadly the way this entire thing is panning out, it is likely going to remain like many of the UFO cases..... Unknown.

Yeah "occam's Razor" is a Bastard! heheh
Yep, too many opinions have caused more confusion. What is the simplest answer here? Too many opinions to know for sure but I don't think it's that simple. *shrug* Watch and see. I doubt this will be the next "JFK assasination conspiracy" but it does raise questions, and probably won't die soon.

All the points made thus-far are good ones, but what it really comes down to again is simple speculation.

They explain these four decade old birth announcements as being potentially fraudulent without any proof that they actually are.

In spite of the statement made by the birthers that only one particular set of documents will put this to rest (and in spite of all the legally legitimate ones presented already) I still go back to the point that John Stewart made on the Daily Show.

Has any of the NASA footage of the moon landings put to rest conspiracies that claim we never went to the moon?

No.

People will continue to believe what they want to feel is real in order to satisfy a psychological need.

To date there is no proof whatsoever to support the birther accusations of Obama being born in Kenya because Hawaii and Kenya say otherwise. The birthers have nothing by way of actual evidence to present so instead they simply refute everything presented to keep their movement going. They claim Hawaii, Kenya, the Supreme Court and every politician in America is in on Obamas forty year old conspiracy hatched by his parents.

This is not evidence, it is barely passable as a "gut feeling".

It is all just possibilities of what COULD have happened...which consequently could apply to anyone.

Look at the threads that claim Obama is secretly Osama Bin Laden, or that he father is secretly Malcom X.

It won't stop. It's not meant to.

Its a merry-go-round spun by politically immature adults that refuse to accept defeat and nothing more.

This newspaper report is a fake created by disinformation agents to further the lie being wrought on the american people to turn us all into slaves using the interment camps set up around the US.

Clearly this is nothing but propaganda, thankfully the real birth certificate that states he was born in kenya has been revealed through confidential sources. Intimidation wont stop real americans from speaking truth to power, fight on brave americans but beware of the propaganda being leaked by liberals to prop up a puppet government bent on destroying the lives of every american christian in this country.

Here's some Occam's Razor for you:

Obama's birth certificate clearly states that he was born in Hawaii, as Obama claims. Aside from this certificate existing, Hawaiian officials have twice come out and verified that, indeed, this is the true COLB. This is an official document that suffices as evidence of birth within the United States. It is to be taken as conclusive, unless there is credible evidence that it is somehow a forgery or otherwise inaccurate. There is no such credible evidence.

Had there been any question of where Obama was born, the Republican Party would have made a huge issue of it during the campaign. It would have been so easy. Wait until Obama is chosen as the candidate for President, then reveal that his place of birth is in doubt. Instant win for the Republicans, plus the Democrats wind up looking like complete idiots. They wouldn't even have to prove it was true; just say it's in doubt. But it's not, so they didn't bother.

Obama (and any other candidate) would have been subjected to intense scrutiny by both the Democratic and Republican parties, in order to uncover anything that might disqualify him or cause a scandal. His birthplace, social connections, civic record, criminal record, background check, religion, drug use (including prescription drugs), medical treatment, financial condition, employment, and more, all would have been carefully checked and double-checked. Even a hint of a problem would have resulted in Obama not being chosen as the candidate (or, if the Republicans had found something, they'd have made it an issue). That didn't happen. Simplest conclusion? There's nothing there to find.

In previous presidential elections, even a rumor of a problem has been enough to derail a candidate. Dukakis in the 1988 presidential campaign was accused of having undergone psychiatric treatment. Just that rumor was enough to stop him. You can bet that if the Republicans had the slightest hope of stirring up a scandal with dirt on Obama, they'd have used it gleefully (just as the Democrats would have done with McCain - it's politics as usual).

The best the GOP could do is to claim that when Barak and Michelle bumped fists in a victory gesture, it was a "terrorist bump". That's mighty lame.

The way I see it- being this was still the early 60's that proud grandparents would like to make an announcement of the birth of their grandchild. This practice was common in times past and it is certainly possible.

My other thoughts is simple- just release all the documents and about 95% of this will be settled. There will be some just like there is with other topics that will not settle down.

The law that you reference there was statute 338, the ammendment, which allowed Hawaiian residents of foreign born children to gain a short form Hawaiian birth certificate. Problem with that claim is that this law was introduced in 1982, when Obama was 21years of age, ineligible, and in addition to that no evidence has been offered up to prove that the birth place is automatically added as Hawaii. The true birth place of your foreign child is still put on the Hawaiian birth certificate. The point of this law was to allow children who a born "non natural born citizens" over seas to have a state birth certificate due to Hawaii's high migrational rates during the time.

Now let me explain to you the logic of birthers, son.

Ms Dunham, a student who was working part time, managed to afford $500 in 1961 to hitch a plane to Kenya 8 months pregant. According to the logic of WND and the birthers;

Stanley Ann Dunham, Barack Obama's mother, was registered for college classes in Seattle only 15 days after reportedly delivering her first-born child in Honolulu, according to school records obtained by WND.

How Dunham was able to travel the 2,680 air miles from Honolulu to Seattle only a few days after the birth of her baby is not disclosed in the currently available public record concerning President Obama's birth.

www.wnd.com...

-So apparently the 8 month pregant Ms Dunham could not travel 2680 miles to seattle but could by all means do the 9000 mile trip back and fourth to Kenya, costing her $500 in the 1960s? From there, virtually a lone Kansas woman who spontaneously decided to go to Kenya, gave birth to Obama, where only within a matter of days she managed to catch a flight back to the US.

-Now Obamas Hawaii state verified short form birth certificate is a fake because techdude from the free republic said so, and his an expert with no credentials or face to show for it. But the Kenyan short form is yet to be proven a hoax, because the experts never said anything against it...

-and ofcourse the officials from Kenya who denied having any B. Obama on their records in coast province were paid to lie and deny the birth certificate. i.e the Obama bashers from yours truly.

-Oh yes Obamas short form Hawaiian birth certificate is actually his half sisters birth certificate, Maya, because Techdude said it was, and offers nothing else to even prove if Maya actually has an hawaiian birth certificate, nope techdude just took that out of the air.

-And then ofcourse the Australian guy with his birth certificate that was posted online in Dec. 2007 on his website founded in 2005, a south australian birth certificate, is roughly the same template, birth certificate number and registrar as the Kenyan birth certificate is a fake and meant to cover up the supposed authenticity of the Kenyan one... Only Theres an individual who actually claims the australian one as his, as australian, and nobody of relevance to claim the Kenyan one, which doesnt appear to have match other birth certificates at the time in Kenya, only Australian ones... which means Obama is actually Australian, his part aboriginal.

Apparently:

-Obama's parents are in the conspiracy, because they lied about his birth place when they supposedly applied for Hawaiian short form birth certificate in the 60's/70's decades before the law 338 to allow that (1982).

-Obamas grandparents are in the conspiracy, infact his entire family is as they anticipated his presidency decades into the future, this african american during the 60's, 70s and 80's america.

-The McCain,Hillary campaigns along with the Bush administration all knew about this but kept their mouths shut. Hillary just pretended to me that ambitious about the presidency. McCain was too nice to reveal anything as well.

-The CIA, NSA and FBI can control entire countries such as Irans elections but cant figure out Obama is foreign born on their global database and intelligence outlets. Or maybe they are part of some bigger NWO conspiracy right?

-The Hawaiian state government is in on it, because they was an hawaiian to be president so they lied, especially the republican and john McCain supporter of a governor.

The list goes on, the story goes on, and it just gets added on.

That is the basic logic of the birthers, and they continue to stand by the logic. They will do so until they are blue in the face, because its either a matter of believing, or its a matter of not admitting you were fooled.

It's quite obviously NOT something proud grandparents would have printed in the newspaper, it's a list of dozens of babies born with the exact same details, name of parents, sex, date of birth. It's the whole column and it's obviously an automatic listing of all birth registrations.
