A review "[500] Days of Summer"

A delightfully funny, sad, sweet, bittersweet comedy/tragedy/romance.
Fantastic acting especially by the principals, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Dechanel. Great supporting cast, great script, direction, everything.
This is an almost adult movie but will appeal to everyone except adventure, car crash addicts. I actually cared about the characters in this film. God I hope i'm not turning into a sappy romantic.

My GF on the other hand did not feel the same way about this movie. She couldn't get behind the characters at all. And this slice of life Book adaptation didn't work for her either. Go figure.

Still I give it and 1/2 clowns.

It does seem odd the studios have had very few releases geared for the more mature movie goers. I think that will help "Julie and Julia" when it comes out.

I have heard a lot of great reviews for "(500) Days of Summer", including a four star review from Roger Ebert.
