The contest closes at midnight, Wednesday night. I'll then ask the judges for their votes and hopefully within a few days the winners will be announced.

I am almost finished but the story is quite long.

When will the new contest for September be announced? Or will we even have one? I would love to see the announcement for this as I cannot begin working on a story for it until it has been announced. Just curious.

This contest is now in the judging phase and I hope to announce the winners on Friday afternoon. Sooner if all the judges report in before then.

Thank you all for participating in the writing contests and on ATS. It's an honor to be a part of such a great community.

I have an idea for one writing contest we should let the ATS members vote on the winners in one contest. They can star the story the think is the best. Who ever gets the most stars wins first place; the second most second place etc.

I’d like to thank everyone for participating in the mysterious subject writing contest and especially the judges who volunteered their time to pick the winners. This was a very close and difficult contest to judge.

Without further ado, the winners are:

1st place: Jackflap - Running with the Devil. – 30,000 ATS Points.

2nd Place: Antar - Home. - 25,000 ATS Points.

3rd: Cameoii - Shadows. – 20,000 ATS Points.

The three Honorable mentions (in no particular order) win 5,000 ATS Points, and they are:

Bushido Kanji - The Embracive End
Relentless.D - The Shaman
AccessDenied - BURN

Again, thank you and I look forward to all the entries in this months writing contest, The Twist Short Story Contest.

As always, it is a joy to be able to post my stories along with the other talented writers here and an honor to be placed along side the other winners. Thank you to the volunteer judges and good job to all!

Congrats to those who win. I can say the stories are very good. I am ashamed that I posted such a horrible entry myself. I enjoyed it though so to me that was worth the embrassment.
I am going to try again; as I have spun a tale that may be a bit better.
I can't wait to read all of the other stories as well in the next contest.
BY the way what are the points used for?

NO WAY!

This floors me, I never win!

Thankyou judges for honoring the story, and the missing people that it represented.

And to my fellow members and writers, you all did amazing jobs on your stories and I look forward to reading more of each of you in the future.

Each entry was a winner.

This song sung from the heart by beautiful Iz, is dedicated to 'Home"

Hey, Congrats people! All of those stories were really awesome. I don't know how the judges could have decided. They were ALL really good. Really. I read every one of them.
It's always a pleasure reading you guy's and gal's work.
