Yeah... I'm sure they will. I'm actually sort of surprised that he walked in and took them home. It's sort of weird, why would Kim hold on to them, but when Bill shows up he just bends over. Weird crazy ol' Kim.

Props to Bill.

I'd say we had more to gain by doing this peacefully. The world is getting tired of the United States and its wars, and I think this shows some initiative to end that cycle.

I'm not a huge supporting of this countries foreign relations, but I have a feeling the US government knew exactly what they were doing.

I have no doubt in my mind that we didn't have to apologize in order to get those journalists back. We just threw him a bone. That's the reality.

In the US former presidents keep the title of President. Out of respect I guess, but most of the time they tag Former onto it.

Once you become POTUS, you never lose that formal title.

I believe it's a matter of formality.

If you are addressing a former president you say "President so and so" but if you are referring to a former president you say "Form President so and so"

I'm not sure if there is an actual "rule" though.

Yeah, props on Diplomacy.

Whatever.

I'd almost bet money that I can paraphrase what Bill had to say to Kim.

"Alright, you got your apology and I am here now. So turn over the journalists or so help me God we will bomb you into the Stoneage...
Alright, lets go girls. Anyone got a cigar?"

Everything is a staged event anylonger. I think that you are beginning to see people just not give a damn.
