White House Calls for Citizens to Inform on Opponents of Obamacare

www.infowars.com

The Obama White House is calling for informer-citizens to denounce opponents of the president’s health care plan. A post on the White House website posted today reads:

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

In this video, Linda Douglass, the communications director for the White House’s Health Reform Office, addresses one example that makes it look like the President intends to "eliminate" private coverage, when the reality couldn’t be further from the truth.

C'mon, who doesn't find this at all just a bit "bullyish" from the Presidential administration. It's certainly not as if President Obama doesn't have a history of "telling the truth" when his "Truth Squad" hit the streets of Missouri.

I guess the real question that needs to be answered is, what exactly is the White House planning on doing with this information????

Also from the article:

Although the Obama administration has yet to call for prosecuting Obamacare opponents, the fact they are compiling a list of suspects is seriously troubling and reveals the authoritarian mindset of the administration.

It also brings to mind Nixon’s enemies list compiled by convicted criminal Charles Colson. Nixon’s list of political opponents would eventually total of over 30,000 names.

Considering the large number of Americans opposed to Obamacare, it is possible Obama’s list of political enemies may exceed that number in short order.

Also posted on the White House website, were the opening paragraphs:

Facts Are Stubborn Things
Posted by Macon Phillips
Opponents of health insurance reform may find the truth a little inconvenient, but as our second president famously said, "facts are stubborn things."

Scary chain emails and videos are starting to percolate on the internet, breathlessly claiming, for example, to "uncover" the truth about the President’s health insurance reform positions.

I did a search engine query of Macon Phillips. He is the White House Director of New Media.

This beyond socialism in America this straight communism, what they are going to do with people like me that OPPOSE to Obamas hoax of health care? come to my home and beat me to death.

What joke and a way to silence the opposition and to instill fear.

Well I am no scare and I will be waiting.

I guess it they probably suspend my husbands retirement until I get properly re educated.

That video was some nice spin put forth by professionals in the spin business. This is still just a call to report on anything or anyone who opposes his plan.

The truth is I'm all for health care reform. I honestly believe it's a good idea.

I'm just not sure I can get behind the spin attack they seem to be planning against anyone that differs with them.

I'm thankful you posted you posted your sentiment about the spin from the White House.

There are a great many American citizens that are pro-health care reform. And this thread certainly isn't to attack those that are for, or against, the health care reform package. Just seems so strange that the White House would appoint individuals to literally attack the "disinfo" agents collectively found throughout the citizenry.

So hypocrtical, considering Obama started as a community organizer himself.

Without touching the debate on what should be done with healthcare,

These tactics are very disturbing.

Combine them with the Department of Homeland Security's new inward focus on "Right Wing Extremists" as potential terrorists and Obama's desire for a Citizens Defense force with 3 months mandatory service and you begin to get a picture of their version of Change.

Thank you for the S&F...and also thank you for ensuring this thread will not become a debate for or against health care.

Infowars.com posted a YouTube video during the campaign trail of Obama's "Truth Squad." Scary reminder of that situation in Missouri.

Somebody needs to post how are people supposed to know what are lies and what are the truths of the health care reform bills? That's right there are 3 versions in the house and two in the senate.

So before they start going around collecting the dissidents info they need to read all 5 of them and find out what the truths are and aren't.

I do not like these tactics. You can spin it which ever way you want too, but this is, as marg said, communist tactics.

The Obama admin is in full fledged campaign mode, they never left the campaign trail.

It's almost as if they decided to try battling back toward the irk of Glenn Beck's "Constitutional Watchdog" followers.

The White House was totally caught with their pants down over privacy issues and Cash for Clunkers dealers' computers. That exposure was created by an anonymous tip provided to Glenn Beck from a "Constitutional Watchdog."

Hear that growl...those are Obama's dogs now!

I guess he will be appointing another Czar for this one, the Czar to promote and reeducate dissenters in the nation

I'm not an alarmist about Obama's healthcare policy as I am not an expert on such matters but this seems downright 1984-ish. Those who control the information control the mind and if they can simply label any differing opinion as disinfo or misinfo and ask that it be sent to white house is frightening...

I hated Bush but Obama just seems to be worse because not only is he continuing to hurt this nation as a puppet of the Elite but he is getting a free ride from most media and most of the American people and Congress seem to get behind his ideas. Everyone just scoffs at those who dare disagree. It seems every new reform he brings to the table is pushed and rushed through Congress and anyone who raises questions about is either attacked as not having America's interest at heart or via the illusion of right left politics (like "Oh he's just disagreeing because his party isn't in office")

So here we have a puppet President who is actually supported by the people and the Congress... where are the puppeteers taking us

Thank you for posting and nice post.

This is a threat to all Americans as the Administration is now attempting to the use the media to claim Americans are overwhelmingly in favor of health care reform (which polls show is about 50/50) and that those attending politicians' town hall meetings are planted and whack-jobs.

They are literally trying to do whatever they can to squander opposing viewpoints.

Very, very scary!

I was an alternate delegate for Obama in the primaries. I sincerely wanted him to be all that he promised.

But, even then I could not close my eyes to disturbing signs from him.

I still get bombarded with emails from him, his never ending campaign.

The President of the United States should not be sending propaganda emails to certain segments of citizens of the U.S.

This is not what a President should do.

His message should be the same to ALL Americans.

This, in itself, is a departure from past presidential protocal and disturbing in it's own right.

There is another post similar to this.

What I wrote there, I will write here. . . .

BTW, can't get enough notification about this topic, people need to know!!!

Will they just take names on this site or will they be monitoring it?

If they're monitoring it, I have a statement.

-ahem-

I, Mike Russell, think your plan sucks. I have read large portions of it, which is more than you or any member or congress and the house can say. Your weak and febrile attempts at coersion and threats will not work.
I have lived in Chicago and know what kind of game you are playing. This latest attempt at threats, to silence anyone who fails to agree with you, smacks of Stalinistic tactics.
In Sol Alinskys' book, "Rules For Radicals" rule number 13 states:

13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. In conflict tactics there are certain rules that [should be regarded] as universalities. One is that the opposition must be singled out as the target and 'frozen.'...

Bullpoop. You are not going to get away with it. You and your cronies can have their fun for three and a half more years but then playtime will be over and the grown-ups will have to come back and clean up the mess you Ivory Tower elitists have created.

We win. You lose. It is as simple as that. Get used to losing because that is the taste you are going to have in the back of your mouth for the next few years.

Sincerely,
Mike Russell

Now, who's going to be the first to turn me in?
I call dibs on the bottom bunk at Obamas FEMA/re-education camp and spa!!!

Great post and thank you for sharing your response in this thread as well.

I also want to chiefly know, what are they planning on doing with this information?

Just as an FYI for them? Data mining it? Adding names to "terrorist lists?" IRS audits?

P.S. You can grab the bottom bunk. I always feel like I get more space if I'm on the top bunk!

ok, i wouldnt normally chime in on a matter like health care, but americans seem a little polarised by it.

first, the american system sucks by global standards.

people with real dieases who have no income, or low income, just die.

its not communist to provide some kind of basic healthcare for low incomes.

now i cant say whther your administration is going to maintain private health cover. but in australia, private health still screws just as many people, and australia has a very good public health system. low and middle income earners can get free (or very low cost) hospital and doctor care.
cheap prescriptions ($5 for medications that cost upwards of $1000 sometimes)

i cant believe americans who are in favour of freedom, would happily pay insurance companies (the same companies who after sept 11 upped there prices for everything, globally) to help these companies try to take evrey cent you have, without giving anything back unless they absolutely cant wriggle out!!

im not american so my opinion shouldnt matter, and i dont expect anyone to change an opinion based on anything i say, but google world health systems and see for yourself. health care in america is only for the rich.

if low income earners die, where is your buffer when they start killing off the population!!! hehehe (:

* edit* for the record, i am against the gathering of names of people against the system. THATS a real worry.

You, in my opinion, have every right to disagree. This is a free country. If, in time, you or others can convince me that it is a good idea, then I will be a huge supporter.

But, I should NOT be tracked, added to a list, a data base, anything, BECAUSE I disagree.

This is wrong!

I do respect your right to be a proponent for this type of program. I and others like me, should not be labeled because we are different.

With the "camps", is this next for me because I disagree?
