Glenn Beck shows how logging onto cars.gov for the cash for clunkers programs allows the Government to access your computer and everything in it, only for it to become property of the Federal Government. Everything you have been looking at and downloaded on your computer now becomes porperty of the federal governement... Also another link to how your cell phone is the ultimate GPS tracking device and you have probably been watched for a while now.

These duplicate Threads are getting old quick.

As others have said in these numerous other threads...go to cars.gov yourself and try to duplicate what you saw in the Glenn Beck show. It can't be reproduced by anyone but Glenn Beck. Propaganda or Hoax, take your pick.

What glenn misses is that it doesn't apply to consumers.. .only to dealers...

Very interesting. While it only happens on dealers computer, it is your personal info. Name, bank, ss#, address, work, personal references, household size. It will all be accessed by the Us Gov. I find it alarming, especially the personal references requested. The gov will now know who your friends are, along with how many hours you work each week. It is just too intrusive.

Not at all... if you are doing business with my government, then you should count that machine as gov property.

It's pretty simple and that's why it has the warning on it. To let the dealers know this. What would be bad is if they didn't tell you anything.

This is a "Hey.. btw... prolly not a good idea to conduct biz with us on a computer with personal info on it..."

He claimed the white house said they were changing it after his report. Why are they doing that if he's crazy?
