Well i would have thought they should have been bottom the way they have been going on of late.

Israel has been placed a dismal 141st out of 144 on a list of the world’s most peaceful countries, beating just Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia.

FROMwww.thejc.com...
Don't know if its in the right place if not mos can you move it to the right place thanks.
Well what do you think of this.

THANKYOU

OF COURSE it's not a peaceful country to be in.
They keep being bombed and rocket attacked by mass murdering terrorists.

edited to add ... oh .. I thought I should post this from the article.

The survey is endorsed by ex-United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Anan, the Dalai Lama, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and former US President Jimmy Carter.

Kofi Anan, Desmond Tutu and Senile Jimmy Carter.

I'd like to know why the Dalai Lama endorses something that the three wingnuts endorse. I thought he'd know better then to get mixed up with those bozos.

Well, they are surrounded by countries that openly want to destroy them and waste no time trying. You act as if they aren't constantly being bombarded with rockets, snipers or suicide bombers.

Although since the last 2 conflicts, its been more quiet than usual.

Well, considering Israel's involvement in Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia, it would seem that Israel is deserving of at least the bottom ten nations on the list ... maybe bottom 20 or 30

Yes but you got to ask yourself why they keep getting rocket attacks.
Could it be because they have imprisoned the Palestinians and keep stealing land that dose not belong to them building new settlements all the time.
Maybe just maybe if they removed the settlements and let the Palestinians live there lives in dignity.
But no I could never see Israel doing that they are nothing more than a war nation.

THANKYOU

Intresting that two of those countries have been invaded by the states, and a third is supported by them.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence though, and to those who defend israel - if YOUR land was stolen from you, you were put into camps and your territory was slowly but surely taken away and you were restricted acess to amenities, if members of your family were killed in attacks by a massivley technologically superior foe and your movement restricted, wouldnt you want to fire rockets at the people doing this to you?

Trust a zionist to roll their eyes at Kofi Anan, Desmond Tutu, Jimmy Carter and the Dalai Lama.

The Dalai Lama for God's sake!

Are they all antiSemites too!? Since when is Jimmy Carter senile and can you provide a link to this news item?

Incidentally, it is the Israel that is war like.

Zionists would call Jesus Christ an antiSemite.

Really? When's the last time any of these countries did anything? Jordan and Egypt have been at peace with Israel for a good while. Iraq shot some scuds twenty years ago. Syria hasn't done anything since 1973. Lebanon hasn't officially done anything, but Hezbollah keeps up fighting for the portion of Lebanon Israel still occupies. Saudi Arabia's been snoozing.

Now on the other hand, Israel's been smashing the hell out of Gaza and Lebanon, threatening to nuke Iran, and keeps making veiled threats to the rest of its neighbors.

What you don't get, is that Israel's leaders want war. All of Israel's leaders are men who were in charge of ethnic cleansing, and all of them firmly believe that they are the hand of their god, to sweep away all the "Philistines." They keep their own people under control through constant use of fear, whether by provoking response from the Palestinians (Sorry, you can't bomb Gaza, and then claim it was because of the rockets they shot in retaliation for being bombed!) or by, you know, filling their heads with idiotic propaganda saying that all their neighbors are out to get them.

Israel will not see peace until the people of Israel throw off the yoke of the Zionists.

You're just not terribly clear on the facts, here, but that's because you're American and your media consistently under-reports Palestinian deaths and over-reports Israeli fatalities.

example 1 (2009)

So far, 1,010 Palestinians have been killed, among them 315 children and 95 women, Dr Moawiya Hassanein, the head of Gaza's medical emergency services, told the Guardian. The number of injured after 19 days of fighting stood at 4,700, he said.

example 2 (2006)

The number of Palestinians killed by Israeli security forces in the West Bank and Gaza Strip tripled this year, according to an Israeli human rights organisation. B'Tselem said 660 Palestinians had been killed during 2006, including 141 minors. The report claimed that at least 322 of those killed were not fighters.

At the same time, B'Tselem recorded a drop in the number of Israelis killed during the year. Palestinians killed 17 civilians, including one minor, and six members of the security forces.

Example 3 (2002)

The Israeli army says it has killed at least 200 Palestinians in its sweeping 10-day offensive in the West Bank.

Reports have spoken of dozens of dead bodies lying in the streets of Jenin refugee camp where the army met much stiffer resistance than expected from Palestinian fighters. Seven of its own soldiers have died there.

As far as mass murder, these three examples taken from a simple Google search show Israel to be the culprits. If you can come up with anything remotely comparable to show the Palestinians being as successful, I'd like to see it.

Good luck.
