So, I bought one of those cheapie kids magic kids and started working with my children. I showed them the tricks and told them the 'lie' about the trick. They believed it, of course. But then I took and explained what really happened; what they thought they saw and what really transpired. They got it. They could 'see', through personal experience, how things worked. That's always the best way to teach instead of lecturing.

That's an awesome idea. I never thought about it, but that makes me think about alot of my experiences in life. As it would happen I was part of an amateur magicians club as a youth, I had the opportunity to learn from both pros and a hypnotist as well. I never considered how that may have contributed to my perception of the world and the people around me.

Almost no one in my family understood why the whole long drawn out, over exaggerated, Presidential inauguration train ride annoyed me so much. Same with Michael Jackson's passing. (i.e. what are we being distracted from?)

I think your suggestion is great, but I also appreciate the insight you provided into my own experiences. Duh! LOL

Perhaps its because I am Canadian, but I was never ever taught anything religion based in school. We were taught all about DNA and the last hundreds of millions of years on earth (this fact alone debunking christianity)

Regardless, I do not feel that's what is really wrong with our schools.

What are we taught in schools? We are taught that if we do well, take out a small fortune in student loans, go to university for 4 years, then we MAY be able to get a decent paying job, and someday maybe be out of debt.

Ultimately, kids are taught nothing more than how to be good debt slaves in school. There's no course in school titled "How to make your first million".

They don't teach kids how to truly excel, other than how to truly excel at accumulating debt and learning nothing of the real world.

We also need to know that history constantly repeating itself. Look at WW3 and how the Nazis took the power. Same #ing thing happens again and again.

I think the way to solve this, yes solve not fight, is to be yourself. By that I don't mean the illusion that has been created for you. Stop listen to ALL information you get from the outside. Including friends and family. Do this for a month or two. Start thinking about what YOU really want. Start to think about what you think. Question why you think like that, is that something I really mean. Soon you will see that you have a lot, and I really mean A LOT of walls that block your way of seeing the reality. Norms, prejudice, moral, ethics and so on. The only person in this world that can say what you should do/think is you. NO other person/government can tell you that. NO one.

This will also lead to that you are realizing what you really like to do. Life will seem to open new doors. And you are also becoming some sort of a "shining" star. Look at people that truly devoting their self to something that they LOVE to do. Look at how that people shine, feel the energy that basically knocks you. This is the way to go, by becoming a light in the dark people will notice you. Light and warmth is spreading, and the truth will be easy to see and recognize.
