I like covers. Good covers preferably but bad covers make me laugh so I guess I like them too. Here's a few a of my favourites.

This one may be favourite or at least runner up to the next one.

Viovod-Astronomy Domine(Originally by Pink Floyd)

Matt Minglewood-Can't you see(Originally by The Marshall Tucker band)

Great idea OP. I really like a lot of covers and discovered a lot of music that way. Here's a few a little off the beaten path. -Most people don't even attempt FZ.

This one's cheating a little. Zappa playing Zappa with a former band member

Nice double cover. Elemental

Probably helps if you know the song for this one. Stick with it, it's pretty good.

That's a good one. I like Manson covers. Couldn't find a music video or live version, though.

The two bands who have probably influenced me more than any other are The Clash and The Levellers.
How good is this.

The Specials are also one my favourite bands and have been so influential.

Was going to post Skinhead Symphony but have done so already in another thread and there is a link to it in my signature.

So, here's their version of Guns Of Navarone originally done by The Skatalites.

And here's them having a go at Toots And The Maytals classic Pressure Drop.

Bullring Brummies - The Wizard

The band Bullring Brummies was made up of Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler, Sabbath drummer Bill Ward, Fight/ Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford, The Obsessed guitarist Scott "Wino" Weinrich, Fight guitarist Brian Tilse and Jimmy Wood on Harmonica. Their cover of "The Wizard" on Nativity in Black is their only recording.
