1. The entire net, it would seem, is on this. As well, how many people do you know who want to be a part of the hoaxs and pranks they perpetuate.

So a supposition could be that the hoaxers continued to participate.

2. That could support in either direction.

3. They never are.

Really, I could suppose that you are the mastermind of this hoax and I could demonstrate through creative semantical reasoning why this were true.

Doesn't make it true. Some things are improvable (measure the full length of a "true straight line").

Cheers.

Apparently some guy spent hours on Google Images trying to find a similar BC. Is it really that hard to believe?

politijab.com...

Not so fast! That guy Koyaan that posted that Aussie BC seems to be a graphic imaging expert. He's been all over the COLB debate. If anyone is capable of pulling off an imaging scam, I think he has the credentials for it. No accusations here, but just Google him.

koyaan.wordpress.com...

That's very important, why hasn't anyone commented on that??

Can anyone zoom the AU scan? Any noticeable reoccurring patterns on the paper mapping if a photo shopped scan?

Seems like this Artist has a back story in regards to the Obama BC (searching his site will turn up tons). Did he see the the BC, then make another and post it to gain accolades from his fellow forum mates? (its called motive motive).

Again, not a birth-er, just love mystery, and this feels like one giant mystery.

How hard is it to edit a pre established JPG? Insert your own JPG (technically the page would remain the same age, but without a age on the individual document, The Aussie Doc may be a fake.

I don't see a Lawyer pushing the Aussie Document through for Authentication.

Besides, one's a hard copy and one's a Scan posted by a Graphic Design Expert.

Hmmmm...

You may not be able to find it with that phrase but you can find it on google images, i already posted the source a page back.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

And now that it has been proven to be forged now we hear the sound of scraping at the bottom of the barrel. This will never end, maybe that's the point.

Edit: If the Australian certificate is real.

I'm wondering if this whole thing wasn't just an attack on the conspiracy theory. It seems weird that someone would create a forgery that could create such a firestorm, but then leave enough flaws that it is quickly proven false.

Why are people saying it has been proven as a forgery? Is it because of that supposed Australian Birth Cert?

Anyone who takes a little time can easily find out that the “Australia Birth Cert” looks nothing like actual Birth Certs that are issued for the state of South Australia.

Even just google “South Australian Birth Certificate” and you’ll see what they
actually look like.

Also the coat of arms/crest on the “South Australian Birth Certificate” is not the correct one for South Australia! It doesnt exactly match the Coat of Arms used then or now, tiny bit similar but doesnt match. Neither does the "seal".

For whatever reason, the only proven forgery here is that “Australian Birth Cert”

Well if you have the evidence that a 1959 BC from South Austrailia looks different then what is posted then why not share with the class.

Search Birth Cert Doc on Google (click the image tab before searching).

You will find the document on the bottom of the first page of the search. The last image on the first page.

That may have been the wording that was searched to find the document.

Just sent this letter to thhe email at that website:

To whom it may concern:

There has been a dividing controversy regarding the legitimacy of Barak Obama's US presidency. In question is whether or not President Obama was born in his home state of Hawaii.

There recently was a Registration of Birth from Kenya with President Obama's information on it stating he was born from there. Ever since, there has been heated debate on whether or not the certificate is a fake.

Today, a Registration of Birth from Australia was found on the internet which belongs to David Jeffrey Bomford coming from your website. It looks very similar to the alleged Obama Kenya birth certificate. The debate now is whether or not this one is the fake.

If you could please verify that the certificate is genuine and belongs to your website, it would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you.

Time to end this nonsense.

No matter what comes out of the authentication...

This story that won't go away; will hopefully have some good side effects that are yet to be designed...

Look at two sides duking it out over sheer speculation. Many aren't awaiting the authentication.

Hopefully some intelligent document authentication plan will be developed in the future so that so many people won't be wasting so much time arguing over a currently unprovable point.

I'm sure that we've ALL expended enough emotional and physical energy to light the entire Republic Of Kenya for decades!

Few problems with the "proven forgery".

The crests up top don't match, at all.
The Australian version has some curious rainbow colored lines to mark different sections. (Were there color printers in 1959? I didn't think so, but I'm not sure.)

Those are just two differences that jumped out at me and I wanted to bring them up. Whether they mean anything or not, I don't know.

The rainbow colored lines could be a result from scanning the image onto the net/compression. But i'm not sure, i'm not an image specialist. Good eyes though.

The rainbow colors aren't just on the lines, if you look closely they are also in some of the letters.

Could be, I'm no expert either it just struck me as odd that the lines are rainbow colored. I've scanned a lot of documents over the last few years and I've never seen the lines turn rainbow colored.

The only place I'm seeing it on the letters is the word 'birthplace' in the section for the father's information. Is that what you were talking about or do you see it somewhere else?

Office of the Principal Registrar

I know we have plenty of image analysyst(sp?) on ATS. I'm surprised one hasn't came to this thread.

Where did you get the image? Now, when I just tried to look at the image again on the Aussie site, I get the following message:

The requested URL /worcestershire/images/DavidJeffreyBomfordBirthCertDoc65.jpg was not found on this server

And the rabbit trail continues...

Ahh, I can kinda see it there. It's not as clear as the lines are though...

I'm a bit surprised there aren't any image experts taking a look too. It is a bit late though in most of the US, so quite probably there just aren't any on who've come to this thread. Sure could use one right now to clear up these lines though.
