Your original quote in itself means nothing.

The credibility of the source is pertinent, in order to know background regarding the quote.

The quote is from a new age / alternative money earning site.

The site won't even name the person who made the quote. The site will only say the quote is from "....a senior member of the Hierarchy of Masters of Wisdom..." who is in constant telepathic contact with something or other.

Therefore the discussion regarding the source of the quote is on topic.

You posted a little snippet that you later admit to taking out of context and didn't even offer any source for where you originally got it.

Then people started wondering what you're talking about and you start coming off as arrogant and rude.

I just did some reading about him. It looks as if he's another typical cult-of-personality type crackpot. There must be a lot of people with empty lives out there keeping these guys successful.

As many members here are saying, Sol when starting a thread with a quote you the OP needs to post the source for some credibility so the other members can reply to your thread as you wish. Your first post makes no sense and yes omniskeptic provided the source, still it is up to you to do better research before posting.

My turn for a slapdown?! I'm guessing the OP is suggesting that ETs have been unfairly described as dangerous and rapacious when in fact they are all friendly. The 'debunking' refers to the myth that since 1947 UFOs have been denied and/or described as hostile.

I think the only reasonable position is that we don't have enough evidence to know if there's a 'who' before we consider the 'where' or the 'why.' Speculating on the intentions of a suspected intelligence is premature. Too many ET hypotheses lack intelligence. They often work on the premise that a technologically superior species is unable to make contact without the say-so of a US representative.
