maybe my point here is
let me clarify

We could of stopped all war after world war one, but didn't
We could of stopped after world war 2 , but didn't
We could of stopped....

ok so we don't stop
I am saying at some point for the alien life forms, they did stop early and didn't fight the wars we did, therefore don't have the experience and tactics that comes from experience, not the ability to think, you can think all you want about something you dont have your hands dirty in

I think someone who can cross galaxies is not very impressed by our efforts to kill ourselfs and the planet. It most likely just makes them sad to see how we treat it. But like adults, they know we will grow up some day. Even if it means hundreds of more years.

Or perhaps they know we will wipe ourselfs out in a few years and are taking the chance to see us the few last years. Maybe others can learn from our mistakes.

If we truly are alien hybrids, our ego's and aggressive manner was put in to make us survive and create. But it may turn out that the same qualities will kill us all in the end. It will make a nice lesson for the ET's. The next hybrids will have to have less of these qualities, but still enough to survive.

It may not be the universal norm to weaponize an idea before putting it to non lethal uses. Like the A-bomb. Imagine a race that used nuclear energy for just that, energy. After that they have no reason to ever wage war and therefore never advance their weaponry.
Unlike humans who only seem to critically think when it's time to kill someone.
It's entirely possible that humans are better at waging war than other species. (And from this human's standpoint may not be a bad thing.)Those of you who say if they can get here they can ABSOLUTELY destroy us are the ones not thinking outside the box.

Maybe other races have peaceful energy making engines in their spacecraft, does that mean they have nukes anywhere ready to launch and take out cities, countries even?

Some further research into physics, quantum physics, and particle physics will quickly show you that a nuclear weapon is probably like a small pebble compared to what any advanced alien civilization would have. If they have mastered the skills nessicary to travel faster than light then I assure you they have also weapons (and defenses) that would make all of our nuclear arsenal obsolete.

You should Google DEWs (Directed Energy Weapons), Planck Energy, Anti-Matter, and multiple cosmological things like black holes for example. Now if a species has mastered those technologies or principles (which they would need to in all probability to be able to travel the stars) then it is certain they have created weapons that utilize some or all of those principles--some we are already experimenting with.

How about a weapon that simply phases a region of space out of existence on the quantum level? Yea those nukes sure are useful then right?

know more because we didn't stop fighting, they could of stopped after the first attempted murder on their planet, how could they know more than us if all they have done is think about it, even if they are a group of teslas, thought isn't nothing compared to real blood and guts experience.

Any advanced ET civilization would likely be many 100s of years ahead of us at the least. That means they likely would have been through even more wars and social issues than we have. It is naive to think that certain species would be special from evolution and make certain jumps that we didn't. Evolution is based off of learning from the past. You just can't jump from caveman to space age. So in reality they would be much more experienced than us as well in all likelihood. Now what they choose to do with that experience is up to them.
