OK have you seen the news lately, well every news agency has their backing and obviously they tend to be biased towards where the funding is coming from. The reality today is that if an individual gets a job with a good pay, that individual would become a kiss ass to his/her boss. You get what I mean.

1. People still believe America didn't orchestrate the Iraq war. Don't ask me why.

resident George W. Bush and seven of his administration's top officials, including Vice President Dick Cheney, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice, and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, made at least 935 false statements in the two years following September 11, 2001, about the national security threat posed by Saddam Hussein's Iraq.

On at least 532 separate occasions (in speeches, briefings, interviews, testimony, and the like), Bush and these three key officials, along with Secretary of State Colin Powell, Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz, and White House press secretaries Ari Fleischer and Scott McClellan, stated unequivocally that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction (or was trying to produce or obtain them), links to Al Qaeda, or both. This concerted effort was the underpinning of the Bush administration's case for war.

Still believe that you weren't dumbefied in to swallowing such garbage then check the full analysis of the Iraq war. GOOGLE it.

2. People still believe America start bombing the poorest country in the world due to 9/11. Don't ask me why.

A former Pakistani diplomat has told the BBC that the US was planning military action against Osama Bin Laden and the Taleban even before last week's attacks.

Niaz Naik, a former Pakistani Foreign Secretary, was told by senior American officials in mid-July that military action against Afghanistan would go ahead by the middle of October.

Mr Naik told the BBC that at the meeting the US representatives told him that unless Bin Laden was handed over swiftly America would take military action to kill or capture both Bin Laden and the Taleban leader, Mullah Omar.

"On 21 September 2001, the Taliban responded that if the United States could bring evidence that bin Laden was guilty, they would hand him over, stating there was no evidence in their possession linking him to the 11 September attacks."

"This counter offer was immediately rejected by the U.S. as insufficient."

Now to connect the dots.

And he said it was doubtful that Washington would drop its plan even if Bin Laden were to be surrendered immediately by the Taleban.

3. People still believe that Democracy is a universal system. Don't ask me why.

Democracy is just another system which can work in certain places, certain time, and certain conditions. Gaza has proven that Democracy is not a universal system, because the people can choose the most retarded people as their leaders or representatives. No one accepts the Hamas as the legitimate government of Gaza even though they were elected democratically.

What the west doesn't realize is that they are imposing their way of life on others, then at the same time they are stating the fire breathing terrorists are actually trying to impose their way of life on Westerners. It is appalling that the Western masses are believing the opposite of the truth. America has publicly announced that they will implement Democracy all over the middle east. Arming the Arab puppet regimes to fight the influence of the only independent Islamic nation in the Area.

It is a mechanical fault of democracy itself, and not the
many leaders caught up in a democratic bureaucracy that
causes a country to stumble. A democracy is where the
government is run by all the people who live under it. To
have a true democracy, everyone must vote. People vote to
exercise their democratic rights; if only 70% vote, then
70% control 100% of the government. Voting without adequate
understanding and choosing candidates for the wrong reasons
are symptoms of voting for the sake of voting and not
taking an active interest in how our country is run.

Another problem with democracy is the
structure of any government's bureaucracy. Vote for a
party/candidate only in principle, because in practice,
they act completely the same. Imagine bureaucracy as a
great fast-moving train; even if another engineer takes
control, it is incredibly hard to make any large
adjustments without severely unstabilizing the train.
Similarly, it wouldn't matter if any political party is in
power, because any fundamental change would upset a lot of
people (one of the unwritten laws of politics: to make a
drastic change is to invite political suicide).

www.studyworld.com...

As you can see Democracy is not perfect, therefore can't be a universal system until a huge deal of change is made to it. Perfection is hard, it would take humans a very long time to perfect the art of politics. For now let’s not get agitated over dictatorships or socialism or communism.

I would add that people still believe that Al-Qeada is real. People still believe they live in a free country. People still believe they have a voice.

Exactly, I'm still amazed how people could be so ignorant. The thing I don't get is if these people are missguided or simply ignorant. It could be either one.

Democracy in my opinion is only a tool to control. The masses won't fight back if they "think" they have some power.

In a Democracy, 50.1% of the people can rule against 49.9% of them. So pretty much half the population gets screwed by the other half.

Clearly not a viable system...in much more than just that most basic respect.

EDIT: We weren't founded on, nor have we ever been a democracy anyway, have we? "I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. And to the Republic, for which it [the flag] stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all." Hmm...nupe.

Wars are about money, greed and power, the motives for todays wars are know different than those of Hitler's except for the brainwashed society that thinks they are doing the right thing. But I would like to think society is starting to open there eyes a tiny bit...just not enough.

WoW! I was checking your sources for this quote:

"On 21 September 2001, the Taliban responded that if the United States could bring evidence that bin Laden was guilty, they would hand him over, stating there was no evidence in their possession linking him to the 11 September attacks."

And I couldn't help but notice how deceitful CBS was being with its article. Notice the headline: Taliban Won't Turn Over Bin Laden with the byline Fierce Fighting Rages Between Taliban And Northern Alliance. The first words in the article are:

(CBS) Without evidence, Afghanistan's Taliban rulers will not hand over Osama bin Laden, Afghanistan's ambassador to Pakistan said Friday.

Now, why wasn't the headline: Taliban Won't Turn Over Bin Laden Without Evidence??

Deliberate spin or shady journalism?

Also, the vast majority of the west still believes that Iraqi soldiers were forcibly taking babies out of incubators. A story wholly fabricated by public relations firm Hill & Knowlton.

You forgot the most crucial lie.
4) People think the newspaper journalists actually try to find and tell the truth here in the USA. The Sheeple think controlled news propaganda machines only happen in dictatorships.

My father-in-law owned a newspaper and stated the Wall Street Journal and the Christian Science Monitor were the only papers he trusted to actually report the news and that was thirty years ago!

In the nineties a story by a supposed New Hampshire school teacher swept the entire nation. "polystyrene is evil" it contains hydroflurocarbons ....

Here is what was wrong with that trumped up piece of refried S...t
1) The "facts" were wrong.
2) Any attempts to correct the facts were met with "that scientist is in the pay of the styrene companies"
3) No little school teacher can successfully tackle an entire industry and win without big bucks and major power backing her. Checkout John Munsell, e-coli and Con-Agri. It took hundreds ill, one death, the loss of his business and screaming to Congress to get any notice at all. He told me a major New York paper sent a journalist who spent several days investigating the story, the editor OKed the story and at the last minute the story was pulled because of orders from the papers owners. Nah, censorship doesn't exist in the USA.

WHY was polystyrene attacked?
It seems a polystyrene company, Sweetheart Plastics and McDonald's were about to announce a new combined project. The land had been bought for the plant and a news release with lots of fan fair was planned for a month before the school teacher got into the act.

The project was really great. Mcdonald's was going to use all recyclable polystyrene made by Sweetheart Plastics. The trash from the McDonalds fast food outlets would be washed and the used polystyrene shipped to Leominster MA where a plant especially built to accommodate the handicapped would recycle the polystyrene. The project took a lot of planning and was certainly good for people and the environment It showed what industry could do if it acted in a responsible manner, and THAT was why it was doomed to failure by TPTB. Thanks to that traitor of a school teacher 5 plants were shut down in MA alone and throwing thousands out of work.

So much for political activists working for the "good of the people" most are working for the money grubbing, power hungry Banksters whether they know it or not. Try to tell them that and they just dig deeper into the sand.
