ok, got my ssd today.loaded it with fresh win 7 and all the trimmings.

My new performace number is 6 (limited by my videocard)
If not for the video, i would be at 7.3!
This was installed on my desktop
(Intel 9650 proc, 4 gigs ram, asus p5q motherboard)

I would say it drops boot time in half.

It is also much more responsive to progfram launches and such.

Actually, it's real purpose will be for the laptop.

I have installed it but their seems to be a driver issue.

It refers to a unknown flash drive unit.........

I have sent a message to the tech's @ corsair about this.

I requested a driver for win7 and or Vista to resolve my issue.

When the driver issue is resolved, I will post the performance index of the laptop.

Corsair CMFSSA-128GBG2D

With this Specfic SSD, may apply to others, you:
"can not run a full format on your computer", it will distroy the speed of the unit, back to that of an average harddrive.

ONLY run "quick" formats on the unit as well as never defragging the unit, seriously.
