With all the hate, fear mongering and whatnot, I felt like it time ONCE AGAIN time to remind people of the beauty and harmony of our most precious possession: EARTH

Here are a couple of pics I have chosen...my hope is that each of you add to it and check back often....just as a reminder to us...we have but one home, Earth! Let's try to find our common ground here if nowhere else!

Enjoy! and Peace to all!

Great idea! I think sometimes we all need a little break from the normal arguing and debating and what a better way to unwind than to see a few beautiful pictures of the Earth we are all (for the most part) fighting to save.

Here's a few that I have taken in some of my travels for work and vacation

One from the Callaghan Valley

Heres a BW one I took one fall.

The next two while the circumstances were tragic, they are quite beautiful in their own way. Im not sure who took these ones, I found them on the web. These ones are from the Kelowna BC wild fires of 2006

Here's one my wife took last fall while hunting...granted, I am in the pic...so that kinda takes away from the beauty...but the reflections in the water (not to mention the biodiversity) are breathtaking.

As for Peaceful ones. These were taken in the Arctic. They are of waves that had frozen instantly after breaking through the ice.

This one is of an iceberg where the salt water and the fresh water run off had frozen together in layers.

Not sure of the species...but it's one of the oldest, most primitive of species of trees on this planet...so old, so behind the evolutionary process....SO BEAUTIFUL!!!
