Just a few points:

1) The American people in general have become the "Tories" of the Revolution. We now believe in "our government" no matter how it mistreats us. TJ would be very disappointed.
2) Yes, we have two major parties, and since American politics is played in the margins, they look different to most Americans. From the perspective of the rest of the world, there is little difference between the two.
3) At the start of the American Revolution, probably fewer than 35% of the residents of the colonies wanted armed conflict or total independence.
4) The Democratic party is an alliance of various groups that when examined individually have little positive impact on the economy. In a world of economic contributors and takers, they are predominantly takers. A society of professors, welfare workers, independent bookstore and new-age shop owners does not sustain a viable economy.
4) The GOP no longer represents working America either. The party is simply an extension of international corporatism, but they allow personalities like the hapless Sarah Palin; knowing that she will strike a chord of "patriotism" in the average Joe, who has a very limited view of real politics.
5) The lessons of Saul Alinsky can work both ways. There is absolutely nothing wrong with deploying these methods against the current administration (which unfortunately, I voted for). Hopefully, ACORN will soon be smeared so effectively that even radical minority activists will abandon them. These are the organizations that need to (legally) be eliminated. If we want our Republic to survive, we need to fight for it. Wherever the left has been successful, I have no hesitation about adopting their tactics.

Rockpuck, orwellianunenlightenment, thanks good points

Until Activists SEE divide and conquer for what it is and SEE how they are being lead by the nose, they can only make matters worse. They thrash around swaying others who are clueless with they impassioned speeches based on the lies and half truths spoon fed to them by those who would be their masters. Instead they need to rip off the blinders and SEE the wizard manipulating the controls and proclaim THAT far and wide.

For centuries religion was used to rule the masses, now socialism has taken its place. Unfortunately belief systems are hard to combat with facts as the Masters are very well aware. Is it any wonder Maurice Strong has religious leaders from many different religions working on his ranch in Colorado?

Please note, the above statement is NOT an attack on anyones believe system it is an attack on those who use that belief system for control. In Ye Old England, the first son got the land (Food) the second went into the millitary and the third became a priest. Now we have UN NGOs. The beliefs have changed, the masters have not and the methods have just been updated to fit modern times.

What do they expect? Their job is to come to their constituents and listen. For too long now, they have just held their little town hall shows to tell the people what they are going to do. Instead they need to be told what they are going to do.

Just this morning, I listened to a few of these jokers, on television, telling the people what to fear, rather than just listening to what we actually fear. They all are planning to try to sell Obamacare, rather than listen to what we want.

I just don't understand why the media (especially FOX) doesn't confront them about this. But, I'm encouraged to see the citizenry taking the reins. Go America!

Excellent video, thank you!

Anyone who watches can plainly see that these are not Democrats, or Republicans.. they are just some incredibly pissed off Americans!

Perhaps, sometime in the future when they document these times, these will be examples of the rumblings and grumblings of Revolution.

Absolutely, ditto, kudos, etc. I am not going to bother posting on divide and conquer here, except for a few things, as I have posted many times before in many threads on the subject.

Divide and conquer is the nature of the beast. It is the nature of power and control. It exploits our most basic brain function that colors all perspective, until transcended. If you find yourself in an "us vs them" mentality, you simply haven't raised your consciousness of the world to a high enough level. Start examining motives, including being honest about your very own motives (it starts there), and move from there. Oh yeah, study the basics of how binary works in programming. Read "The Art of War."

Thanks.

The "us vs them" mentality can get you caught up in a trend. Some road I've been down. Its important to look at both sides and not just one, the more you just look at one side the more you'll go off track. It is necessary to understand the motives of action and reaction from both side when trying to stay a few steps ahead of the game.

I'm glad I decided to study binary a little bit, also do you mean "The Art Of War" by sun tzu?

Way to go !!!!

People are fed up that they are not represented.

We must not forget that we are the ones that elect these people, and it is quite normal and a duty to make your voice heard by any means (no violence of course)

This has to stop !

– Artificially Inflate Your Numbers: “Spread out in the hall and try to be in the front half. The objective is to put the Rep on the defensive with your questions and follow-up. The Rep should be made to feel that a majority, and if not, a significant portion of at least the audience, opposes the socialist agenda of Washington.”

– Be Disruptive Early And Often: “You need to rock-the-boat early in the Rep’s presentation, Watch for an opportunity to yell out and challenge the Rep’s statements early.”

– Try To “Rattle Him,” Not Have An Intelligent Debate: “The goal is to rattle him, get him off his prepared script and agenda. If he says something outrageous, stand up and shout out and sit right back down. Look for these opportunities before he even takes questions.”

Wow if they keep ignoring the public I can see this getting way out of hand and fast.

The majority of people are finally tired of being ignored...

Rookies, they are doing it wrong! The proper way to hold a town meeting is to pre-screen everyone to make sure you only get the ones who agree with you. Just look at how the President does it. Works great for him

I think you're a little late on that bit - Bush is already out of office, and let's face it, the closest he ever came to getting criticism in front of one of his crowds of sycophants and ardent supporters would those cases where the questioner didn't fawn over him before asking a 'question'.

Careful, you Democrats and liberals. You need to be VERY CAREFUL here. If the hard left catches you so much as uttering a dissenting word toward Obama then you, too, will be labeled a "right-wing neo-con".

I'm guessing the 2010 elections are going to be flooded by "right-wing neo-cons" voting out the unpopular folks. And conservatives will, of course, be blamed for it all.

Uh oh, I guess I'm in trouble

I've already criticized him pretty vocally for continuing the executive power grab that's been going on since Clinton instead of strangling it in it's sleep, and for endorsing the return of the demented AWB (which fortunately Congress isn't going to touch anyway.)

No Brownshirts have shown up at my door yet though

Then again, I'm registered I, not D...
