I must say that although hard to figure out what they were, it is really exciting.
Why does everyone put doen the mexican airforce??? So what if they are small. I am sure that they have high standards, and just as capable as our
own.
If a fighter pilot cannot tell what it is, this must be something... I myself and excited meet our friends from the skies....
Aw JCMinJapan, people put down things for their own reason. Don't worry about it. Sometimes, they need to do it to spare themselves from something
worse. Strange way of humouring, although, in strange situations, sometimes it's the only way of getting 'baggage' off your chest. We all do it
sometimes, don't we?
I certainly am proud of the Mexican people for having the courage to bring this out into the open. They have been having so many occurrences with UFOs
in their territory it has made them frustrated and they're looking for answers. Yet can you imagine what it must be like to be alone in this
scenario? Eventually everyone else in the other countries will open up too. It's just a small matter of time now.

I just looked at the video again and I've got to say, if you think those are volcano lights or something like that, something's wrong with you.
They definately appear to be objects in the air. The fact that a few of them were caught on radar confirms that they weren't volcano lights, swamp
gas, or whatever other BS explaniations the debunkers come up with.
As for airplanes...they aren't anything conventional. Cuban figher planes or whatever don't have cloaking devices. They also aren't shaped like a
triangle or single point of light.
I say this sighting is genuine. Since I adhere to the extraterristrial explaination for UFOs, I'd say we most likely are looking at alien craft.

Here is the Babelfish version of the spanish language
story. Help translating the ? words would be appreciated.

M?co D.F., 12 of May, 2004. -After which the past Monday occurred to know a video that shows 16 not identified flying objects (Ufos), the Secretary of

Conclusi?del journalist Jaime Maussan, dedicated for m?de one d?da to the study of fen?no, has been that the recorded objects were Ufos.

I'm sure these are genuine vehicles. Now the question is, are they man-made or not.
Personally, I don't see how there could be a secret technology tree on the earth that was so much more advanced than contemporary scientific
knowledge that the devices have no resemblance to anything currently known to us. The only things visible on that video were flying pulsating spheres.
They also happened to not refract the visible light spectrum and stayed invisible to the multiple pilots who witnessed this.
Its up to our governments to show us that they are capable of making flying spheres that can stay invisible. If they cannot produce such technology
for the world to see to avoid speculation, then there is only one other conclusion. They were not man made.

yeah... I don't see why we would be testing ultra advanced craft that *may* have some sort of invisibility device in southeastern mexico. I also
don't see how these things can even work under our current understanding of physics.
Does anyone know how to determine the heat/energy involved in an infrared recording? If so... we might be able to determine the level of power these
craft are using...

An Orb seems a logical shape for a vehicle that can travel via energy/gravity beam. Perhaps the fact they were invisible to the eye was only by
chance. The spectrum we see in is by no means universally applied. The sphere shape would be good for air, water, or space. Likely energy is
applied to form the vehicle "walls". There is likely a shape within the orbs that is unseen.

I saw it on the news here in Japan, but only for about a minute. I ahve checked the major news and only found a small mention of this. Even the UFO
research sites do not really have anything on this. I wonder why? Also, has the US or any other Govt given any official statements on it? I have
been searching, but so far cannot find any.
Quite strange all of the silence. If it was nothing, then there would be a report by the govt debunking it eh? They usually come out with answers
right away.
These being light? it is not like the place was close to the gound or even looking at the the groud at all. The objects were obviously moving
sideways. And I agree, the question about the UFO is wether it is ET or man-made.

RE:Attention all racists.
Please leave the negative comments about Mexico and Mexicans in the mudpit, or better yet: don't post racist comments at all. They do not belong on
ATS.
Anyway carry on.

Those were not any ionic plasma balls, or anything like that, unless you are going to postulate now that they can chase military aircraft too and that
these ionic balls are intelligent....

Enough Mexico jokes...
at least their pilots had the nuts to release this info for us all to see.
The most telling part of the story was that the UFOs FOLLOWED, and the SURROUNDED the Mexican AF plane when it changed course.... all signs of
intelligent control.

Beside everyone knows Ionic plasma balls are man made. Try cutting a grape in half, then spliting the halve down to it's skin, fold until you make a
)( shape, place in microwave and watch the fun! www.google.com...
Did anyone notice the 'spark' trails behind the UFOs?

The trails that you saw are normal when using infrared equipment and you follow fast moving objects.

I wasn't sure what to make of those sparkle things coming off the UFOs in the video. I was thinking it was some type of artifact of the infrared
system used. Or perhaps radar information overlayed on top of the video which didn't sync up perfectly.
edit:
Muaddib's interpretation sounds accurate to me.

I saw the video last night, on the australian channel 7, 6 o'clock news... certainly looks genuine... but it was pretty quick though... just some of
the video, and a shot of the guy who was flying the jet or wateva... wit the newsreader speaking over the top... pretty basic details... mexico,
unidentified flying objects etc... i am glad this this came from a pretty "reliable" source... the military (wasn't the US). LOL!
