A couple of Dekalb county police officers ran Obama through the GCIC.

Dekalb County is part of the Atlanta area. Crime is really bad in this county, you would think they have enough to do.
You kinda wonder what these guys were thinking. They should have known this would alert the secret service. Really dumb. I wonder if this pertains to the recent release of his birth certificate again. Maybe these guy's were trying to prove something. If they were it cost them their jobs.

Sorry I did not see it, but thank you for pointing it out to me.

Why should it hurt anything to run a check on a President?

All that stuff came out before the election though. I've heard several folks in Georgia say (all republicans) that Obama did not graduate law school and that his law degree is forged! Some email going around, and I am pretty sure it is going around in the law enforcement circles because that's who my one relative likes to email with that GOT it and asked me about it.

There's some folks in Georgia that are pretty vicious towards him.
