SEOUL, South Korea — South Korea asked North Korea to quickly release a fishing boat and its four crew members, hours after the vessel was seized after accidentally crossing the countries' eastern sea border, an official said Thursday.

There are a few possibilities.
1) It is not a fishing boat at all - but rather some kind of covert ship, and the North Koreans aren't too happy.
2) The North Koreans haven't heard about this yet - because the people who seized the boat are actually foreign agents.
3) Everything is as it seems to be - and the fishermen will be let of with a stern warning.
