Looks like birds to me also, however, I was puzzled by another video the person had on their channel from a couple months ago. Im from Fremont and Id like to know what direction he was facing and what time approximately the videos were filmed. I watch the sky almost nightly and see nothing but satellites and a few strange flashes once in a while. Neat though!

Hi Phage
because of the random flight paths i also thought that it was birds
it is difficult to tell not having any scale in the video
the guy who took this claims that it is not birds and that the objects were
not visable to the naked eye.

i have seen birds flying at around 300 feet that look like blobs of light
because they were lit from below by the ambient light .
i even filmed one once convinced it was a ufo until i got a grip of myself put the camera down and really looked at what i was filming.

when it comes to ufos i am firmly on the fence but these NV videos
looked convincing and i really wanted a second opinion on them.

i think the more convincing videos and photos of ufo are more to do with us than alians.
do you agree

The whole point of using night vision gear is to see things you can't see with the naked eye. They amplify light so dim objects appear bright. It's not too surprising that birds would not be visible to the naked eye at night, particularly if they aren't white. Also, as you say, there is no way to judge the altitude or size of the objects.

I agree that most, if not all, of the videos we see are explainable by "mundane" phenomena.

Hi Foundclarity

yes alot of the other videos look like satellites
i have spent alot of time looking at the night sky with my telescope
and naked eyes and have never seen anything on the scale this guy is seeing things.

but then again i dont have Night Vision equipment
i agree it is pretty neat! birds or not

i think our lives are too full of "mundane" phenomena and that is why
all these ufo videos come about

Yup........birds.

You can see the flapping if you zoom in & then carefully watch the edges of the objects.

First of all, I didnt know birds glow just with the same brightness as stars...
Which breed of birds fly around in pairs at night?

Just wondering.

It's not a case of "glowing" so much as "reflecting".

Also, there have been a number of previous threads showing birds flying around at night looking exactly like that. Some have those have been flying in pairs.

Hi Jinx

the video is shot in dundee a town along the coast of scotland
i would imagine that the birds are seagulls
they would not have to reflect much light to make them appear
bright when viewed with nightvision
