Im organising a Weekend Skywatch for the 8-9 August across the whole of the UK. Starting at 9pm on Saturday night until 5am on the Sunday morning.
Its basically aimed at getting as many people out into their gardens or looking at the skys for an entire night and reporting what they see. Obviously im no expecting everyone to be staying up ALL night if they have work or other activites, but to put as many hours in as possible in the hope of capturing something and we could use this page to alert others incase someone upfield from the location is also looking in that direction.
All you really need is a camera/video-recorder, a keen eye and lots of coffee

well seeing as the weather men have lied to us about a decent summer you'll be lucky if you get a clear sky next weekend.

damn those weathermen and their outlandish predictions

Well we have clear skies so far this weekend (where I am at least.) Already been out and seen a few Perseids/Satellites but no UFO activity (yet.)
The night is young and still some 6 hours to go until sunrise.
