Flying Saucer Drone Hovers Over Hapless Human
It had to happen sometime folks.
A flying saucer ... drone.
You just knew somewhere in the drone building industry there was an engineer spending sleepless nights working out the kinks of this thing.
Aesir’s first prototype, named “Embler” and depicted in the video above, demonstrates the so-called “Coanda effect,” where air speeds up as
it “sticks” to a curved surface. Aesir’s drones take advantage of the Coanda effect to direct air down, away from the drone, boosting lift.
It looks like an rt model, doesn't it? Seems pretty fast, too!
Nice.
