For all the information you need to make yourself an informed opinion on whether Obama's Birth Certificate is real, or that he is a "natural-born" citizen, check out the news organization who has done the most research and has a compilation of their research, which includes pictures of birth certificates and quotes from the officials in Hawaii. Here is the link. You decide:

www.wnd.com...

Personally, after I have been reading and watching every story on this subject, I feel that Obama is definetely hiding something...why seal all access to his passports, grade school and college records?

He was not vetted during the election like McCain was, in regards to his "natural born" citizen status. There are many ongoing lawsuits challenging his very eligibility, so we'll see how that pans out. It just SMELLS to me!

You are correct. US Military bases, no matter where located, are considered to be US Soil. US Military bases are treated like Embassies: sovereign US soil.

That's why the McCain issue is moot.

the birthers have time and time again proven themselves irrational, unsatisfiable, and irrelevant.

i think it is long past time the rest of the nation do what the president has already done and simply ignore them.

They will not see reason. there is no proof that will end their crusade to prove Obama is an outsider.

Let them rave alone, they just prove their own ignorance and hate.

Strange that this Hawaiian "official" is able to break the law and comment on a person's "Birth Credentials" when these same "Officials" have stated - repeatedly - that to comment would be illegal under both Hawaiian and Federal law.

And... since the cat is already out of the bag, so to speak, why not just release the official long-form document, right? Oh, and hey Barry... while you're at it - please also release your medical records, high school transcipts, college transcripts and passport information. I am REALLY curious to see how you were able to travel to Pakistan and what credentials you used to attend college. Thanks.

Actually, there was an amendment to the US constitution that gave a specific acception to people residing in the Panama canal. Not everyone was able to live on the base, but many US citizens were there for the contstruction so they wanted to make sure those children born would be considered US citizens.

The amendment was called the Canal Zone Amendment:

Citizenship

Although the Panama Canal Zone was legally an unincorporated U.S. territory until the implementation of the Torrijos-Carter Treaties in 1979, questions arose almost from its inception as to whether the Zone was considered part of the United States for constitutional purposes, or, in the phrase of the day, whether the Constitution followed the flag. In 1901 the U.S. Supreme Court had ruled in Downes v. Bidwell that unincorporated territories are not the United States.[4] On July 28, 1904, Controller of the Treasury Robert Tracewell stated: "While the general spirit and purpose of the Constitution is applicable to the zone, that domain is not a part of the United States within the full meaning of the Constitution and laws of the country."[5] Accordingly, it was held in 1905 in Rasmussen v. United States that the full constitution only applies for incorporated territories of the United States.[6] Until the rulings in these so-called "Insular Cases", children born of two U.S. citizens in the Canal Zone had been subject to the Naturalization Act of 1795, which granted statutory U.S. citizenship at birth. With the ruling of 1905 persons born in the Canal Zone only became U.S. nationals, not citizens.[7] This no man's land with regard to U.S. citizenship was perpetuated until Congress passed legislation in 1937, which corrected this deficiency. The law is now codified under title 8 section 1403.[8] It not only grants statutory and declaratory born citizenship to those born in the Canal Zone after February 26, 1904, with at least one U.S. citizen parent, but also did so retroactively for all children born of at least one U.S. citizen in the Canal Zone before the law's enactment.[9]

Did you read everything in the link to "www.wnd.com"?

How have the "birthers" proven themselves irrational? YOU PROVE it, because your opinion is no proof of anything.

I want you to read everything in WND so you become INFORMED before calling a group of people names. How about I call you irrational? How do you like that? PROVE your not!

How are the people voicing their concerns irrational, unsatisfiable, and irrelevant?

And better yet . . . because something has gone on too long, we must drop the issue?

That is what got us into this mess to begin with. Apathy.

You, sir, are ignorance personified!!!
Does it make you feel all warm and fuzzy, by your own admission, that the President "Ignore" his constituents!? Do you long for the destruction of our Representative Constitutional Republic? You appear to derive pleasure from the fact that the government no longer feels compelled to offer a redress of grievances as afforded by the Constitution. Overall, your sentiments seem to be more in line with dictatorships evidenced by the likes of Chavez and Castro.

So, wanting the TRUTH is ignorance and hate? Please explain to me EXACTLY how I am ignorant and hateful? Just put down the Koolaid and take a few steps back!

They're irrational because there's overwhelming proof that Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural born citizen. 1. He satisfied the electoral commission. 2. He released his birth certificate online. 3. Hawaiian State Officials have twice now confirmed that he was born there.

They're unsatisfiable because of all of the above. No matter how many times it's been verified by the state officials and electoral commissioners, birthers aren't satisfied.

They're irrelevant because nobody with any intelligence is listening to them any more.

1. He satisfied the electoral commission.

Exactly who on the commission and what were they shown?
I've asked this a few times and no one knows the answer.
Do you know?

2. He released his birth certificate online.

No he didn't. Jay McKinnon forged the fake Certificate of Live Birth that Daily Kos had up. That's the fake that other 'news' agencies picked up and claimed was real. McKinnon admitted the forgery and as soon as he did, Daily Kos took down the fake. If it had been real they would have left it up. But they got caught with their pants down.

3. Hawaiian State Officials have twice now confirmed that he was born there.

No they didn't. They claim they have a birth certificate on record. That's different then saying that he was born there.

My daughter is adopted from Santa Cruz Bolivia.
Her birth certificate is now in Atlanta, Georgia.
My husband and I are listed as her parents.
NOTHING is said about her birth parents.

In the future, anyone looking at her birth certificate would think that she was an American child born overseas to American parents who were traveling at the time. No one would know that for the first 9 months of her life she was a Bolivian orphan in an orphanage.

My comments are based on the prevent and clear examples of the birthers movement ignoring everything except that which supports their own theory.

No evidence will satisfy them.

Questionable sources are their only outlet for evidence.

Anything of any merit is dismissed for any plethora of reasons.

It is a fringe movement whose only result is in the continued downward spiral of the right-wing of the USA's political system it to irrelevance and dismissal.

Read this post: link

It clearly shows that Flyers above statement has been debunked several times yet she continues to spread what can only be called disinformation.

No, I don't know. But I am pretty sure it's the same level of proof that's been required of all presidential candidates for many years. You would be well served by contacting them and asking that question to satisfy your curiosity.

So you can provide a direct statement from Mr. McKinnon admitting he forged the Obama birth certificate, right?

"I have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen," Health Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said in a brief statement. "

No. That's why I've asked it a bunch of times. No one will answer.
Obama is SUPPOSED to show his eligibility to the FEC.
So ... who EXACTLY on the board saw his paperwork?
What exactly did they see?
Does ANYONE ... ANYONE AT ALL ... know?
If so ... tell us.

It clearly shows that Flyers above statement has been debunked several times yet she continues to spread what can only be called disinformation.

Wrong. It was never debunked. Jay McKinnon admitted the forgery. Daily Kos took it down. Everyone else already had it up and ran with it. That's it. Nothing debunked.

Proof please?

I'm not a moron. I'm NOT posting my daughters birth certificate on the world wide web. I stated the truth. You can believe what I say about it or not. It's your choice. (I'm sure I know which you'll pick.

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of palpably fake Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same Daily Kos blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.

Israeli Insider

I choose to call you on BS about your daughters BC because you could so very easily remove any sensitive info while still showing us your proof.

No he did not. He released his Certificate of Live Birth, which is not the same thing as a birth certificate.

3. Hawaiian State Officials have twice now confirmed that he was born there.

How is it that state health director Dr. Chiyome Fukino was able to personally inspect the birth certificate in November 2008 when it had been destroyed seven years earlier?

How is it that FactCheck.org was able to have "seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate" around the same time if it was destroyed in 2001?

How is that Dr. Chiyome Fukino saw the original document, as stated this past weekend?

You were saying?

All ya' gotta do is use google. It's your buuuuuuuuuuuddy.

story here

Jay McKinnon ask opendna, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called opendna.com and uses the opendna screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

opendna posted on his Photobucket album two versions of a "Certification of Live Birth" document image, here and here. Both, as demonstrated in the respective blogs of analysts Polarik and JimJ, have a common visual signature (a dot that appears on all four images) with the images posted on the Daily Kos site image that the Obama campaign has endorsed as genuine on its "Fight the Smears" website and has distributed to news media as the "real" birth certificate of Barack Obama. The signature dot appears on that one, too, when magnified, albeit a bit ... smeared.

In the summer of August 2006, blogging on the Daily Kos, opendna aka Jay McKinnon showed off his DHS-derived knowledge, discussing under the heading of "The Perfect ID Card" the ease of forging US documents, birth certificates in particular

More at the site ...

And some more reading ... (if you can wade through this psychotic mess)

Oh. You're not willing to post your daughter's birth certificate online. Well, that's understandable, after all there's no reason you should have to show it to anyone except the authorities.

What is it you want again... ?

1 - no surprise there .. I figured you would.

2 - I have no scanner and wouldn't know how to post it anyways.

3 - If I were to somehow black out my name and my husband's name, how exactly would that prove that our names are there and not someone elses? it wouldn't.

3 - Even if I did, I'd not be stupid enough to put a document like that on the internet.

Believe what you wish.
I spoke the truth.
She's from Boliva.
She's adopted.
Our names are listed as her parent names.
Anyone looking at the document would think she was born to us, Americans, while I was traveling in a foreign country.

I have no idea if ALL adopted children have birth certificates that read like that or not. If anyone out there is adopted check your BC and see if you have your adopted parents listed as 'parents' on your BC.
