Your top 5 questions for someone from the future?

This post was inspired by another post "interview with man from 2097.Fact or Fiction?”

I thought the questions the interviewer asked were ridiculous, which prompted me to ask – if you had 15 questions (only) that you could ask a time traveller from 2100 – what would be your top 5?

For me:
1. Is the NWO now in open control in your time, and are the alleged players of this time now considered pioneers?

2. Have humans cured major illness like cancer, malaria, TB etc. (oh, and swine flu! Lol) and when did they have the main break throughs and from which country

3. Does your world now use free energy, and when did it start – which country started it?

4. Is there another world war? – who starts it – what year – nukes? Who wins?

5. Have they finally achieved peace in the Middle East? If so what year?
I would love to hear what other people have to ask.

Maybe we could make an official list just in case one of us really does bump into a time traveller one day (which I am sure will happen eventually!)

When someone travels from the future to their relative past, their future becomes part of the past in a cause and effect relationship to the present that he will now be a part of. So, he can no longer accurately have an answer for the future as he has become a cause of the present's future and is no longer an effect of his "future". Its best to ask what they know and then apply it to your own context as opposed to asking for an accurate prediction of future events.

1. Do I have an accurate view on your time-loop scenario?

2. Do you know how they completed quantum physics?

3. Did this completion eventually lead to time-travel?

4. What does your trip imply to the nature of the universe?

5. What belief do we have now scientifically that you know to be false?

These are purely selfish questions that I would ask someone from the future.

Tell me who the future 10 superbowl winners will be

The future 10 world series winners

Look me up and see how I'm doing/how big is my house.

I would love to ask a person from the future a couple of questions, but..

By asking certain questions, you would then try to find a solution or use their solution in our time, which would in turn affect the future. Maybe we would be messing with fate and the lives of others in the future. Every action has a domino effect. Unless our fate is for that person to travel back in time and and affect our present.

This could get extremely confusing and might go against some peoples beliefs. (if people still have that left in them)..In terms of fate. As long as its for the better, Im cool with it.

Will have to think long and hard about those questions though..

How about asking:

1. Why he/she got is here?
2. Whose machine was it that sent them back?
3. How does it work / who invented it and when?
4. What is the future like to live in? (better/worse then now)
5. What dates in our future should we stay home and hide?!

Q 1. Have humans been able to prolong their lifespan?
Q 2. Have humans been in contact with another intelligent lifeform? If so,
what was the outcome?
Q 3. What are your overall views on religion and spirituality in your time?
Q 4. Are there any natural resources left for your and future generations,
or are they depleted?
Q 5. How far has your technology exelled and what is the latest?

Q 6. Could I go back/forward with you? PLEASE??!!!

I like the religion based question so expanding on jinx's idea I think it would be interesting to know - Is organised religion still apparent and widespread? What is the dominant religion of the world now?

Also:

Have we been contacted by anything not human?

I think this is an interesting thread and I'm looking forward to seeing all of the ATS members answers. I didn't put much thought into mine but here they are off the top of my head.

1. Has any conspiracy throughout history been proven to be a conspiracy or are they all still considered paranoid delusions?

2. Does mankind finally realize that religion and evolution are just theories and not fact?

3. Did humans ever figure out that no matter what color their skin is they are still the same race?

4. When the world didn't end in 2012 what year did the paranoid masses choose to be the next unlucky year?

5. How many beautiful children did I raise before my time was up?

I think five questions are too little, I would love to add the question,

Does the monetary system still exist?

Out of that could stem another 5 questions!

1. Do we still have different countries in 2100?

2. How do we produce our food in 2100?

3. Why are you wasting your time here, when you could have gone back a little further and saved thousands of people?

4. If you are not here to help anyone, and just want to answer some questions, you are a narcissistic prick. (not a question, I know.)

5. Take your time travelling, techno-vacation (bleep) out of my face before I smack you so hard your grandma feels it. and decides not to have you. (again, not a question, except maybe if he wants to be quickly un-born)

I would be tempted to ask who shot Kennedy, but then again, I don't really care. It would just be cool to know.

a little schizophrenia there but my five questions would be:
1.How does blackest night end?
(what comic book fan doesn't want to know that?)
2. Do any of the companys I want to start get off the ground?
3. Do I marry the girl I like?
( I haven't asked her out yet since I'm afraid she'll say no)
4. Will I ever go back to Peru and actually like being there?
(my first trip to Peru was horrendous)

( I would add an abortion joke but I think that would be tasteless and unfunny)

I just have one question: Will the New Orleans saints win the Super Bowl this year?

They are 9 and 0, undefeated and only lost 1 preseason game. They currently have won more games than anyone else in the nation. I think they have a good shot at it.
