Deep Impact is a 1998 sci-fi-drama disaster film.
The plot describes the attempts to prepare for and destroy a comet, which is expected to collide with the Earth and cause a mass extinction.
A very decent film.
However my imagination was sparked when the President of The United States Of America ( portrayed by the black actor Morgan Freeman ) tells the world the grim news.
With all the fuss over 2012 and planet nibiru i couldn't help but imagine President Obama in that role.
Could this film have been made to prepare the public for what was to come?
Deep Impact (film)
Deep Impact (space mission)
The last link is about the space mission also called Deep Impact. Just thought i would include it as it is very interesting.

With respect, I think Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is just as much a warning as Deep Impact.
I am not sure why people keep on thinking Hollywood is in league with whoever holds the suppressed knowledge, but they are keen to "warn" us in some unfathomably obscure method.
If they are trying to warn us of something that is not worth worrying our little heads about (the average 99.99999 percent of the human population will not be hand-picked to head off to outer space to try to heroically destroy the comet), what's wrong with a decent old-fashioned Public Bulletin issued on TV and Radio?
By your reasoning, any movie or tv show with a black President is trying to warn us of something?
Here is a partial list:

Head of State
The Fifth Element
The Man
Undercover Brother
Left Behind
