Two vaults full of teddy bears, plastic floral arrangements and other memorabilia were buried this morning at Woodlawn Cemetery in Detroit at a
granite tombstone marked, “Motown Remembers the King of Pop, Michael J. Jackson.”
Approximately 50 fans stood around, some shedding tears, as Motown Museum CEO Audley Smith and radio personality John Mason spoke of the importance of
the brief memorial service and burial. Please visit the link provided for the complete story.
It's a sad day when teddy bears get a police escort and a proper burial.
So, Detroit decided to have a funeral for a memorial to Michael Jackson. They even had a police escort.
My opinion? Are you freaking KIDDING me?!?
Oops, forgot to add the link.
Anyway, why on earth did we feel the need to have a full on burial for a memorial? Why bury teddy bears? What a waste of everyone's time, money,
police presence and effort.
