You see, a "placebo" as a strong effect, along with a person's beliefs.
There are people who are diagnosed with cancer, for example, and die within weeks, not from the cancer itself, but from falling into a deep depression
"knowing" they will die.
Others may have been cured by chemo, not exactly because of the chemo, but because they "think" it will cure them.
