Hello,
Although I am not a humble man, creating a topic to introduce myself does inspire a bit of humility. I have read these boards for about a year and registered for an account in the last few months. My interests in relation to this website are alien conspiracies, however, I'm open to any and all discussions of merit. Unfortunately, I do not consider many of the discussions on this website very meritorious, but the beautiful thing is that is only my consideration. A person has every right to their considerations regardless of if where it applies- religion, morality, politics, or even internet forums. Most problems in our civilization persist because man cannot yet differentiate between those trivial consideration and the true test of any action, ethics. It is the intelligent thing to do. But that is a topic for another thread, I wouldn't want this topic removed for violating decorum.

Anyway, hello to everyone, I hope we can have many constructive communications soon.

Truthfully,
Shane

My IQ is Schfifty-five.

So mr. smartypants, why would you want to go and leak your name on your very first post?

What do you consider top? I'm 142 on a good day.

Very interesting introduction. I never have introduced myself. I never saw the need or point. It is in my experience that forum such as this you gain notice due to your postings and introductions mean little.

Hello and welcome to ATS!
I look forward to reading your brilliant threads and posts.
There are multiple thought provoking threads, and many chances to appreciate the thoughts and intelligence of others here, and debate also if therein lies your interest.

So make yourself at home. I'm curious to see what the top of the IQ scale has to say for himself.

Hello Shane.

I wouldn't rely on an IQ number to be your credibility. On here you may think that having a higher than normal IQ would make you an expert, you're wrong, it just makes you opinionated. Also, don't say hello from the top of the IQ scale when you don't even post numbers to support it. For all you know I could have a higher IQ than you.

Its not the size of the IQ that matters, its how you use it. I hope nobody gets IQ envy.

HI and welcome.

My IQ is pretty high, higher than most... this is because I specialise/enjoy certain types of mental problems... once you've seen a couple of hundred you've seen them all. The problem is, that's all I'm good at, I'm really pretty stupid.

I can see you are not the same and your high IQ is merely a clever way of getting some interestig replies. I think you will get along ok here.

Your words interest me. I'm currently wondering in whose eyes the true test of an action derives fom ethics? This sounds precise but ethics are also reliant on opinion or 'considerations', so who sets the ethical benchmark from which each action is measured (or I could use a more terrible word... judged).

Thankyou for making me use my brain today

My intelligence quotient got eaten by the dog back in the early 60's, so I have no idea, but welcome anyways.

Welcome to ATS, I hope your initial claim holds true, there is no greater fall, and ATS does not provide much cushioning!

IQ is important, but so are integrity and humility... I look forward to reading some of your posts and threads.

I have often wondered why people feel the need to write posts with as many polysyllabic words as possible even if it detracts from the context of their posts and they frequently repeat themselves...

It's not a competition; read, post, debate and learn, I know I have, but most of all I've enjoyed myself, there is no greater community on the web.

Bon chance,

Sendran.

You Do realize you set yourself up for whatever comes your way now, right? :

People will be all over you when you do something like, forget an 's' on the end of 'consideration' or something.

I suppose you could always argue that your pulsating cranial region is better used in the ponderance of far greater things, than mere attention to detail in posting, and other nonsensical trivialities.

I always thought that if I were smart, It would be cool to be like two people. That way I could be entertained, and have arguments, and stuff, but not really need to have anybody else get mad at me or anything....or tell me to pay more attention to my typing, cuz 'my spell-checking momma don't work here.'

Well come a board, man.

Well...Perhaps you should tell us in what upper IQ range you belong to. Do you hover any where near Marilyn vos Savant with her 238? Or maybe down further around 120-150 with the rest of us apes?

I'll be looking for you on the boards.

Happy hunting.

Hello and welcome to ATS. You're in the right place. The ATS firehose section even takes my threads and I don't know how to imbed links or get news snippets up.

This is a fun and interesting site. You might wander over to the resident expert's area and read some of Jim Marrs replies to questions. Also the tin wiki is a good place to look for specific topics.

Yo Dog I heard you like smart stuff so I made a new theory of the Universe and posted it on ATS so you could understand the Universe while you were actually IN the Universe.

Welcome aboard newbie. Watch out for low flying UFO's.

Hello from the Top of the IQ Scale

Hello back at ya Einstein.

Being as smart as you obviously are, you must realize that an entry like that is no way to make an entry. You have to be aware that such arrogance (or performance) is bound to be challenged. One more step on, you have to know too that the first time you trip over your large IQ and fall flat on your humanity, there will be a tailgater... and you will be the guest of dishonor.

But all of that being as it may, I do welcome you to the web's first and foremost smart-ass graveyard.

Cheers!

My IQ is a B, maybe a B+. 80 - 85.

I like pie.

or is it pi?

Anyway, have fun, will be great debating someone smarter than me. When I played chess, I never got better by playing people who I could beat all the time.

-cheers-
