Feds Raid Dr. Conrad Murray's Office

We've learned the Houston office of Dr. Conrad Murray is currently being raided by federal authorities ... and we've learned they are looking specifically for all medical records relating to Michael Jackson.

We're told 8 Drug Enforcement Agency vehicles arrived at his offices about 30 minutes ago. Two LAPD detectives also arrived on scene along with uniformed members of the Houston Police Department and 10 members of the DEA's Tactical Diversion Team. There are another dozen or so DEA agents on hand.

Looks increasingly likely charges will be brought in this saga.

Story is also being reported on Sky News and CNN.

Its amazing people didn't try and help Michael Jackson, its clear now the man had a serious dependency issue.

I wouldn't want to be any Doctor associated with him now.

It took them long enough to get around to it. What was the reason for the delay of the raid?

The article suggests that LAPD called in DEA to help with the raid.

Perhaps whatever brought them there has taken a bit of time to find and they felt they needed more specialist assistance?

Can only speculate but one of the comments on the original article states

"2. c'mon tmz, how come u haven't yet reported on the fact that authorities finally traced the propofol they found in Jackson's home to Las Vegas, where Murray has a practice! Get with it!"

Obviously, it's difficult to say anything as this could purely be speculation by the poster.

It's sad that Michael Jackson's death is the main reason that the media and Gov' officials are looking into this prescription drug problem we have in the USA.

If anything good comes from this man's death it will be this.

Sorry to tell you this, but they aren't looking into the prescription drug problem. The only reason it's gotten any play at all is because it was MJ. Nothing will come of it besides, perhaps, a murder prosecution.

Wow, have I gotten jaded...

If the doctor had various dangerous meds in the office given to Jackson, then I think he should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Giving pain meds to patients that have major pain, is OK, IF it is under contol or in a controlled enviroment like in hospitals...In other words, it has to be supervised...

hink this dr is a criminal...Sorry.

This is a publicity hunt pure and simple by law enforcement and government agencies. I'd be terrified if I was the doctor or anyone connected to him because we're about to see an epic show trial.
