Obama is a distraction, as is any President.

As we have seen over the course of the last 40 plus years, it does not matter at all whom is President. The same internal and external policies have remained the same, and each successive administration has carried on the work of the previous.

None have deviated the course, and here we are today complaining about Obama.

But in Reality, Obama has little to nothing to do with it at all, as he is little more than a poster child, a public relations spokesperson for the International Establishment.

Well then, what is our problem really about?

It is about the struggle between Liberty and Totalitarianism.

Between Freedom and Slavery.

This struggle is not new today, it is timeless, and exists in any society throughout History.

We the people should focus more of our attention towards that fact, that this is the culmination of our Historical struggle against the tyranny of the Establishment. And this is why "Obama" or "Bush" are simply mere distractions from the ultimate direction of Progress.

Because every single time we focus on one person, like Bush, or Clinton, and try to kick them out, we end up hoping the next one will be different, or better. However we now know that things not only remain the same, but they get progressively worse as the New Order of the Ages takes shape.

The Ultimate question for us as a race, as a species, has nothing to do with whom is President or in Congress at all. It has to do with the Establishment in general, and whether we as a species will gain Liberty, or collapse into Totalitarianism all over again.

Our History is replete with countless Totalitarian regimes, oppressing the people, and only recently in our History has human kind been capable of achieving the Freedoms we now enjoy, but they are always in danger and they always have been.

Let us stay focused on Liberty vs Totalitarianism.

Getting rid of Obama is not the solution, as new tyrants always step up. It is the Establishment that must change.

The System must be altered.

Good point.

But as Obama is the figurehead for totalitarianism (ie spokesman as it were) why couldn't we use him as a focal point?

If we are really going to keep TPTB in check, figureheads like Obama have to be defeated. I don't like to make predictions, but I think I can say that 2010, 2012, are going to be big years for politics. We can see the defeat in liberalism, but we have to insure that the mindless politics of the right don't take control either.

Where is the happy medium though?

Might as well elect Zaphod Beeblebrox next time.

It's true, that's why all pres are the same since Carter. Well and before Carter.
Maybe I should clarify, Carter was a good person and as such was like moth wings in a fire in DC.
